CITOTIG AC/DC machines are the most advanced equipment

The COMPOTIGfunction combinesthe beneficialqualities of bothdirect and alterningcurrent. It simplifiesjoining aluminiumalloys anddecreases thenumber of defects.

The difference in the tack welds is clearly visible. TACKFOR THIN was used to weld the piece on the bottom,and regular TIG was used on the piece on the top.

CITOTIG AC/DC

TACK FOR THIN device(available on advanced version)Is a dedicated process for welding thin sheet.Developed with a strict focus on assemblyand welding thin sheet.

COMPOTIGSturdy and robust process that usessimultaneously AC and DC. The compositionof the two different processes can beregulated to obtain complete penetrationand effective cleaning. More AC for bettercleaning and more DC for better penetration.

Pulsed TIG and“synergic” pulsed TIG(available on advanced version)The pulsed TIG process, due to thepossibility of regulation of all parameters,allows improved control of the weld pool.In order to simplify the regulation, there isan additional process, synergic pulsed TIG.With the synergic pulsed system, thereis no need to adjust thelow current, ratio andfrequency. All parametersdepend of the weldingcurrent pre-programmed.The pulse mode gives ahighly concentrated arcand increases weldingspeed.

CITOSTEP(available on advanced version)With the CITOSTEP function, two currentlevels can be chosen, the welding currentand the base current. This facilitates thechange from one to the other by rapidlypressing the torch trigger.

The CITOSTEP function can be used toadjust heat input momentarily, to changewelding positions or to replenish the fillermetal supply without having to stop welding.

The technical characteristics that make the difference.

• CITOTIG AC/DC are designed for manual TIG welding of all metals, includingaluminium and stainless steel. They can also be easily used for MMA welding.

• You can choose single- or 3-phase primary alimentation in 2 intensity range - CITOTIG 240 AC/DC is a 230 A @ 40% in a single phase power source,

for joining aluminium up to 5 mm thick. CITOTIG 240 AC/DC is compatiblewith motogenerator.

- CITOTIG 310 AC/DC is a 300 A @ 40% in a three phase power source.

• All the characteristics that TIG welding need. CITOTIG AC/DC permits TIGwelding with any type of current: AC, DC+, and DC-.
