I moved to Portland in 2006 and started to work with Exceptional Homes by Andre.

I ran all the job sites from start to finish.

I supervised the construction of more than 30 homes.

I started getting plans and applying for permits to getting estimates for all trades associated with the construction of residential structures.

I assisted in design and all quality control.

All inspections and visits by city officials were handled by me.

As the projects came to an end I met with potential buyers and serviced them in any way possible.

I handled year warranties.

Exceptional Homes by Andre also had rental properties that I maintained from time to time.

As an IBO I had a website which allowed me to have access to millions of products and services. We had everything from car rentals to pasta, you name it we had it.

I expanded my client base, starting with friends and family then moving on to everyday people.

Most importantly, I was responsible for creating and managing customer accounts.

I personalized each and every transaction and made sure whatever my clients were looking for would be at their fingertips and delivered to their door step.

Marketing and promotion campaigns were constantly being put together to attract people into becoming future clients.

This business also allowed me to gain experience in event coordination. The largest event included an exotic car display, local graffiti artist collections, and a metal artist displaying massive contemporary art pieces. The whole event had a very heavy industrial/urban backdrop in a 1940's warehouse near Montgomery Park.

Intense education in sales and marketing from mentors that were already making six-figure salaries from similar businesses.

This was a family owned business.

I took part in the marketing, cooking, cleaning, hunting/fishing guide, maintenance, and customer service.

Many customers would come to our resort to escape from the city, so we always did our best to make their stay a special and unforgettable experience.

On the resort there was a Russian style sauna, quads, clay pigeon shooting, target practice, and archery.

attentive I grasp knowledge quickly because I crave it. I am young, motivated,

and want to direct my energy into something positive. At times, I have been put into environments alien to me, but I soon adapt, "learn the strings", and fly through tasks.

eXCellent CoMMuniCation BPA allowed me to speak in public on a grand scale. English was

one of my favorite subjects and writing an amazing lecture or speech has always been easy to do. One-on-one also come naturally from being exposed to sales experience and customer service after all job sites were complete. Knowing a second language, Russian, also comes in handy.

ManageMent Nearly all my work history includes taking charge and leading.

Knowing how to use resources most effectively, creating and team atmosphere where all are working as one. Mostly done by setting an example.

proBleM solving My sometimes unorthodox way of thinking solves complicated

issues. My father left me at job sites with only one order, to finish the job. It was like being thrown into the water with one choice, sink or swim. He would leave and I would have to figure out what it took to “finish the job”. I ran into a number of issues building 30+ homes, but successfully found solutions to them all. Not temporary get it done and over with, but real, long-lasting, right solutions.

strong work ethiC My father tended to his family of three, ran a newspaper, held a

pastorship, and two business. He left a great impression of what hard work is. It is not uncommon to see me get down and dirty even in the most neat management situations. Just because I am in charge doesn’t make me in all senses superior to those working for me. If an issue arises that needs my expertise or just physical labor I will roll up my sleeves and gladly lend a hand to my Subs. I will work until the job is done and until it meets my personal high standards.
