For Time, everything starts with a thread of carbon…

Time always has had a like for innovation

and a culture of performance. However,

our technological breakthroughs are only

valuable in so far as they bring a real and significant

improvement for the benefit of our customers. Time

is not a “show off “ company: when we innovate it

manifests itself in a real, tangible benefit for cycling.

So, we take the time to reflect and to implement our

design and manufacturing process, unique in the

bicycle industry, rather than to seek novelty for the

sake of novelty.

Today, in a world filled with marketing brands, Time

sets itself apart. We think a bike is alive, not a static

object. We create our frames for movement. The

concern for weight and the design comes afterward.

For Time, shape helps function, never the other

way around. In the face of pre-impregnated which

dominates the current production of carbon frames,

we master our RTM technology. Time weaves its

tubular braid threads after threads in its factory in

France, according to the desired characteristics and

constraints encountered by each part of the frame.

A unique reason for it: The dynamic behavior of

a composite frame relies primarily on the composition

of its structure. It allows us to guarantee our frames

for life. Everything else is pure marketing.

This manufacturing process is unique in the

composite frames industry. It is what our Research

and Development Department has believed in for the

last 15 years. We wish that you share this spirit that

"TRUST" : To attack “all out” !TIME pedals provide an effective solution to the release / retention paradox.

RELEASE : To ensure a rapid and natural release whenever necessary or desired.

RETENTION : To resist the strongest efforts, such as those exercised in a tight sprint.

TIME, with its patented “Trust” concept, offers an efficient answer to this paradox :

• The absorption of energy necessary to prevent accidental release is not provided by high spring tension, but by the wide release angle of the mechanism: 15°.

• With retention not depending on high spring tension, TRUST uses lower spring tension, which guarantees immediate release when necessary, progressive and fluid without a sensation of a “hard point”.

With TIME, you don’t have to make a choice between release and retention of the foot. The combination of a wide release angle and a lower spring tension allows the rider to attack without holding back, whatever the intensity of effort, without the worry of not being able to release in all circumstances.

ANgULAR ANd LATERAL FLOAT : pEdAL FASTER !TIME’s pedals are the only pedals that independently offer angular float of ±5° and lateral float of 2.5 mm. With TIME, it’s the pedal that has to adapt to the rider and not the opposite..

Q-FACTOR AdjUSTmENT : pEdAL CLOSER, pEdAL STRONgER !Q-Factor Adjustment allows adjustment of the distance between your feet to adapt to your morphology, with an adjustment of the lateral distance between your foot and the crank of 2.5 mm per side.With TIME, adjust yourself as close as possible to your morphology.

minimal Bioposition :BioPosition is the distance between the sole and the center of the pedal axle.The closer your foot is to the center of the pedal axle, the more you reduce power lost to “Rocking Torque” while pedaling, the more you pedal ”round”, the more you pedal effectively. The thermo moldable membrane integrated into TIME shoes (ULTEAM RS, ULTEAM TRI, MXS) allows the shoes to adapt to the feet of each rider, thus maximizing comfort and improving energy transmission.• Remove the insoles from the shoes and open the fastening straps of the shoes to facilitate the heating process.• Position a hair dryer 15 cm from the opening in the shoe at an angle of 45 degrees, oriented in the direction of the front of the shoe. • Heat at maximum temperature for 4 minutes.• After finishing the heating phase, place your foot in the shoe (using cycling socks) and moderately tighten the straps, staying seated. It is important not to walk during the cooling phase.• Keep the shoe on your foot for 15 to 20 minutes until the shoe returns to ambient temperature. In composite manufacturing there are many technologies : bladder molding, pre-impregnated (pre-preg) fabrics, filament winding, rTM...TImE has always used RTm (Resin Transfer Molding), technology and is still the only manufacturer in the bicycle industry to possess total expertise in this manufacturing technique. Usually reserved for military aircraft, RTm technology permits total freedom of shape and consistent quality - every part is a ”carbon copy” !

In this complex method, TImE first selects the most sophisticated fibers, then carefully determines their position and orientation necessary to obtain the desired technical characteristics.In the TImE RTm factory, the
