Time and Equipment

EquipmentDuring the production of my music magazine including research and planning and the actual production of my magazine I will be using a different range of equipment this includes the Apple Mac, a Nikon Camera, Photoshop and InDesign as well as other websites such as Prezi and Da Font. These pieces of equipment will be helpful because they will all be used for different purposes. The Apple Mac will be the main source of production of my magazine, I will use it to create my magazine using the applications of Photoshop and InDesign. Photoshop will be used to edit images and add/change other features of my magazine, whereas InDesign will be used to put all of my magazine together. The Nikon camera I will be using to take some the pictures for my magazine and will be used for any other pictures I take in the production of my magazine. I will be using a Nikon camera as these are the types of camera’s that are used for tasks like mine. They will make my photos look good and professional and help me learn some skills about the camera. Other websites such Prezi will help me uses different ways of presenting my research and planning and the website ‘Da Font’ lets me look at different fonts and therefore letting me pick one for my music magazine.

TimeTime is very short, due to many deadlines I have to make sure all of my work is done by certain times. I have a check list which has been provided to everybody by my teacher, this helps me seen what I need do or what I have done. I then create my self many ‘To Do’ lists, this is where I list out all the tasks I need to complete for my magazine production. The list helps me see what I have to do. After I have created this list I will then put all the different tasks I need to complete into different days and times to see when I am going to do everything, these plans don’t always help as I get behind the plans sometimes but it lets me see what I need to do.
