Taking place from 6th - 8th July 2018, the Southport Air Show is one of the largest events in the North West.

Established in 1991, the Southport Air Show has been a firm favourite in the events calendar and brings over £1.2 million to the local economy. The flying programme features the UK’s best military and civilian aviation display teams, plus plenty of aircraft favourites. There are various attractions on the beach and in the Air Show Village plus other military aircraft and the presence of our armed forces.

Did you know...• The Red Arrows have displayed 11 times since 2008.• In 2016 the Southport Air Show won the ‘People’s Choice’ award at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.• The Southport Air Show brings over £1.2 million to the local economy.• In 2015 the Southport Air Show hosted the last ever flypast with the Royal Air Force Red Arrows and the Vulcan XH558.

• The majority of visitors to the Air Show travel from locations in the North West - Greater Manchester 25%, Liverpool City Region 22%, Cheshire 13%, Lancashire 11%, with many enjoying the attractions of the Air Show during the whole weekend.

The Southport Air Show in house marketing team produce a range of marketing materials including; tickets, wristbands, signage, a souvenir programme and various digital advertising campaigns.
