11 North Koreans who were part of a submarine crew found shot dead in obvious mass suicide and 13 killed by South Korean forces during a search operation.

Incheon International Airport is officially opened

The battle between South Korean and North Korean naval vessels concludes in four South Koreans dead with 19 others wounded. Also, there are about 30 North Koreans who are thought to be killed in the same battle.

The Yeongi-Kongju area was selected to replace Seoul as the new capital by 2030.

For the first time in 56 years, passenger trains crossed the North Korea—South Korea border
