Matt and his team have delivered a unique & fresh brand offering for Timoleon into what is a challenging and conservative marketplace, the construction industry. Although Matt’s previous experience did not lie in this industry he and his team have been able to adapt and understand quickly, successful delivering our objectives. We will be using them again in 2010.

The Brief.
Timoleonisacompanywithchallenginggrowthtargets,theyrequireabrandthatsetsthemapartbutpositionsthemcorrectlywithinthemarket.Theyneedtoappealbothdirectlyandindirectlytoallpartiesandstakeholdersthatareinvolvedinproviding,supplying,buyingandassessingunderfloorheatingandcoolingsystems.Theyalsoneedtoestablishtrustwithinapotentiallyvolatilemarket,onethatisoftenconservativeandwearyofnewideas,marketingtechniquesandnewcompanies.
The Background
Timoleonisanambitious,newlyformedcompanythatspecialiseinthedesign,manufacture,serviceandsupplyofunderfloorheating&surfacecoolingsystemsandrenewables.Theyareateamofexperiencedindustryprofessionalsandengineerswithprovenbackgroundsinunderfloorheating&surfacecooling.TimoleonwasformedasaresponsetolegislationrequiringtheUKtoreachambitiousenergyreductiontargetsby2050andtofillthemarketgapforacompanythatprovideabespoke,consideredandwellengineeredsolution.Onethatistailoredforthebuildingusingcomponentsandknowledgespecificallygearedtowardsdeliveringthecorrectheatoutputwhilstalsomaximisingtheefficiencyofthewholesystem.Timoleonproductsandservicesareaimedatarchitects,specifiers,installers,ambitiousselfbuildersandthoseinterestedinsavingenergy.Timoleonalsohastwosubbrands,Tonos–anenergyauditingandconsultationserviceandStreamline–aservicing,commissioningandtrainingserviceforinstallers.
The Approach.
Inordertodeliveronthebrief,wehadtogettoknowTimoleonasabusiness,spendtimeworkingwiththemandgainacomprehensiveunderstandingoftheirproposedproductoffer,theiridealmarket,salesprocessandgetinsidethemindsoftheircustomers.
AfterafourweeklongresearchprogrammewewereabletosuccessfullyclarifywhoTimoleonareandcommunicatethesevaluesthroughadefinedvisualandverbalidentity.FurthertothiswethenhadthechallengeofensuringthisidentitywaspresentinallofTimoleon’scommunication,advisingofthenecessarymediause,whenandhowtouseit.Fromliteraturetopackaging,digitalmediaandofficeenvironmentsweactivelyhelpedTimoleonensurethattheypresentedthemselvestoanexceptionalstandardthroughallaspectsoftheircommunication.
The Result.
OurprogrammewasactivelymeasuredagainstanambitiousReturnonInvestmentobjective,ofwhichwehavedeliveredwitha85%increaseinsaleswithyearonyearincreasesofover180%.TimoleonarenowaggressivelyestablishedwithinthemarketplaceandhaveattractedinvestmentfromPolypipe{amajorsupplierofplumbing&heatingsystems}tobecometheirIndoorEnvironmentalSystemsPartner.
