Tips and Tricks to Use Google Chrome Shortcuts

Do you do most of your work on Google Chrome? If the answer is affirmative, then go on reading. We have put together a list of the main shortcut keys that you can use on the internet browser when using Google Chrome. There are more tips and tricks to use Google Chrome shortcuts than those we have mentioned here. We are only looking for those that are commonly used.

Common Google Chrome Shortcuts o Alt + Home To open the homepage o Alt + Tab If you want to toggle between different browser windows o Alt + The Left Arrow If your idea is to move back a page o Alt + Right Arrow To go forward by one pageo Alt + Down Arrow Will help you to access and display any text you previously entered in a text box. It will also give you all the options you have available o F11 If you want to display the website you currently have in its full modeo Ctrl + Alt + Up Arrow Will take you right to the bottom of the pageo Ctrl + Alt + Down Arrow Will take you straight to the top of the page o Esc Will help you to stop a download or page from loading o Ctrl + (- or +) Helps you to zoom either in or out a page. - is for making the page smaller and the + makes it bigger. To reset back to the default, you use Ctrl + 0. o Ctrl + 1 to 8 To move to a page that is corresponding on your tab bar, press Ctrl and whatever number you select between 1 and 8.

o Ctrl + 9 Will switch you to the last tab o Ctrl + Enter Should be used to complete an address quickly, e.g., if you wanted to access TotalSystemCare from SafeBytes, you would type in the name SafeBytes and press on CTRL + ENTER to access the address, http://www.safebytes.com. o Ctrl + Shift + Del Helps you to access the Clear Data window so that you can delete private data o Ctrl + Shift + B Is the way you can toggle the bar that shows the bookmarks between those that are shown and those hidden o Ctrl + A Is where you press if you want to select all the things that are on a page o Ctrl + D If you have a page opened, use this shortcut to add a bookmarko Ctrl + F Where you go if you want to access the find bar so you can find a particular text on a page you have openo Ctrl + O Is where you go if you want to open a file in the browser o Ctrl + H Gives you access to the download window o Ctrl + L Is the access point to anyone who wants to direct the cursor to the address bar and then highlight anything they want on it

These are not the only shortcuts you have for Google Chrome, but we hope that we have covered most of those you use every day. If you scan this list and discover that there are some that are not included, you can always check Google Chrome itself as it has some more tricks on its own.
