Congress Concept

The integrated goal “Safe, Convenient, and Green Mobility” aims

at enhancing the current ITS/telematics towards the more

advanced one. This goal can be achieved through three strategies

– Ubiquity, Transparency and Trustabilty in the 17th ITS World

Congress, Busan in 2010.

It is recommended that:

• APEC Members be encouraged to more actively participate in ISO TC204 and related standardization activities

• APEC TPT Members strengthen the collaborative works with ISO/TC204 and identify future work items:– APEC TPT Members share information and experiences on

ubiquity and nomadic device oriented technologies for transportation sector

– APEC TPT Members identify priority areas to cooperate to enhance regional harmonization

• Future Joint Workshop• e.g: Public Transit, Electronic Payment, Emergency

Management
