Your Life2 tmagFunk up your room

Tips it’ll be a wise decision to go through a thorough clean-up process before you start making a habit of it. divide the room into different sections and start with the small and easy ones. however, do not engage yourself in organising furniture or other things when you’re cleaning because it won’t work with the plan.

Just keep in mind that if you don’t devote at least a small amount of time every day to clean up your room, then no amount of tips will help. also, you don’t always have to sweat over keeping things clean. Just grow a habit of replacing your stuff after using them.

Tricksif possible, hang or put a nightstand beside your bed to keep essential items such as a lamp, pair of glasses

or medicine at your reach. it’s better to have a shelf or a desk beside the study area than putting all the books and other things altogether on the reading table. Nameplates pasted on each shelf will reduce things from getting mixed up. after that is done, separate the infrequently used stuff, and put them out of the easily accesible areas; consider buying plastic containers in case you run out of space.

scattered disks, pieces of board games on your floor are the very reasons why your room looks chaotic. The imperative part of a room is the closet. if you really want an orderly room, go through every inch of your closet and organise your clothes and accessories in categories. and lastly, don’t forget to do justice to your room by adding a covered basket for dirty laundry. Saudia afrin

the week!

Cats grow up to be very interesting pets. They’re smart, graceful and naturally good looking animals. out of all the praise they rightfully deserve, they also have a few quirks that can drive cat owners insane.

Clawed up furniture, drapes and carpets are a common sight in homes of most cat owners. They’re often defiant just for the sake of it, bug you when you have a lot of work to do and chew on those expensive pair of headphones - voiding the warranty on it. however, out of all the annoying things that they do, perhaps the most shocking is when they bring home dead animals and present them to you.

it’s not a pretty sight. But why do they do it? Because they’re evil like that? Because they can?

The truth is as shocking as the act itself- bringing dead animals home is their way of showing that they love you.

even if you like dressing up Mr Fuzzy boots with funny outfits and costumes, underneath his oversized bow tie and silly hat is a very efficient predator. a study published by Nature Communications, a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Nature Publishing Group, suggested that cats in the us alone kill between 1.3 to 4 billion birds and between 6.3 to

22.3 billion small mammals every year.Cats are raised by their mothers

and from a very young age, they start learning through experience. as soon as the kittens are old enough, mother cats start educating their young by teaching them survival skills, which often includes bringing home dead animals, and eventually live prey, to teach her young, vital hunting techniques.

so the next time Mr Fuzzy Boots presents you with a dead bird or rodent, he’s not being evil, rather he’s trying to present you with a gift and endow you the hunting skills you clearly lack.

Attack your weaknessif math equations or geography locations always throw you into a loop, then those are the subjects you should arm yourself for. afraid of asking your teacher to explain it once again? you don’t have to. Get your “brainy” friend to water it down for you after class. once you get a hang of it, solve one or two questions then and there on your own, to consolidate your new-found knowledge. spending a few extra minutes on this would mean you could have a guilt-free go at the Ps4 or watch a few more episodes of your favourite Tv show.

Time yourselfyes, nobody wants to go back to books after a long day of school. hence, prioritise subjects that you will be having tests or quizzes on in the coming week. spend a mere half-hour scanning through diagrams, phrases, and sections that were discussed in class and highlight keywords. drawing your own flow chart or diagram always works like a charm. Pick out a tricky chapter, make a flowchart and put in key phrases systematically one after the other, so you can remember what the entire topic is about by just looking at it once. Challenge yourself to not pick up your best friend’s call or check your Whatsapp messages for that half-hour you dedicated to being a bookworm. let’s test your willpower, shall we?

Let’s face it, most of us run far and fast from books all year and resort to cramming it all in before exams. And we can’t disagree on the fact that cramming is never fun. So let’s find a way to strategise our study schedule while keeping our social lives active and not miss out on the good times

Beauty Check

Ah, the ravages of winter and the toll it takes on our hair. There’s no doubt that the onset of winter bearing fewer hours of sunlight bring with them a new set of demands for your hair

Condition, condition, condition! The most important thing to do during the cold months is to deep condition your hair regularly. you could either opt for an intensive daily conditioner or make your own conditioner at home, by mixing frothy egg yolk, baby oil and a cup of water. another option is to use some avocado with coconut milk to massage your scalp.

Lather lessuse lukewarm or cold water to wash your hair. shampoo less frequently and condition each time you shampoo. lock in the moisture by running your hair through cold water. you may allow yourself to skip a day or two in the winter.

Oil it upolive oil and almond oil are oils that will provide both your scalp and hair

with fatty acids and vitamins. These nutrients penetrate deep into the scalp and hair follicles to help keep things smooth and problem free. use warm hair oil with rosemary essence and cover your hair with a shower cap to trap the heat. What this does is that it increases the amount of oil absorbed by both your scalp and your hair.

Sense and simplicitylet the curls fall loose or try a low ponytail, even a messy bun to keep styling at a minimum. limit the use of blow dryers and curling irons. Not only will this limit your hair’s exposure to dry air but they will also look beautiful and wonderfully festive!

hair repairhome remedies are the best way to handle breakage and ensure strengthening of the roots. For instance, you could use an overly ripe banana, mix it with curd and apply it to the roots of your hair. in case of extreme dryness on your scalp, use some warm olive oil and some vaseline. nuSrat nauShin

“Bold colours like navy blue, red, black etc work best for the night. The outfit is paired merely with an oxide neck-piece followed by very earthy make-up in the shade of light pink”

Wardrobe Check

let’s be honest, most of us have endured that one rip (or countless others) in front the entire school (or somewhere equally embarrassing). The rip that instantly made you blush and hide your face in shame. one great way to handle such situations would be to not freak out and silently walk away to a place that allows you to privately deal with the issue. But you know what’s even better? Taking steps to eliminate/minimise the possibility of such humiliating moments.

Wardrobe malfunctions like rips can easily be avoided if you stop wearing clothes that don’t fit you. every material has its limits and that breathing space between your skin and the fabric is vital.

Playing football in a bulky suit is

never desirable. Not only will you look odd, but the material will weigh you down and restrictive movements are bound to rip something. if you know you’re going to be running/climbing/jumping; dress appropriately. and if all fails, wear your most stylish underpants as a backup.

Wardrobe malfunctions also include wearing inappropriate clothing for various occasions. like how a girl would be reluctant to wear a tank top to a milad. With the wedding season right around the corner, try and avoid wearing sneakers with suits, casual shirts and T-shirt. dressing for the occasion is always a good idea.

however, even after putting on your best suit, tie and shoes, it’ll all be for

nothing if you end up neglecting your personal hygiene. No matter how good you look, smelling funky will clear out the room faster you can say “personal hygiene.”

it also helps to plan for the worst. When put in a difficult situation, if you’re carrying a back up; it’ll be like nothing ever happened. if you’re going to be wearing a backpack or a messenger bag, make a habit of carrying deodorant, spare clothes, hair brush, face wash, hand sanitisers, safety pins and basically whatever you think

you might need. stay prepared and stay ready! running away in shame or feeling out of place will be a thing of the past. Baizid haque Joarder

Park the car on a flat surface and engage the handbrake! This is to ensure that the car does not move when you are fastening/loosening the tyre.

loosen the lug nuts using the wheel wrench which should be turned anti-clockwise in order to unbolt them. keep in mind that some cars have hub covers covering the lug nuts. in that case, you’ll need to pry off the hubcap to get access to the nuts. remember not to remove the nuts completely. Just get them loose enough so that you can remove them by hand later on.

use a jack to raise the car. The jack should be placed under the frame near the tyre that needs to be changed. Make sure the jack is placed in the right position and is in proper contact with the chassis. if it isn’t properly placed, you might end up cracking or damaging the underside of your car when the jack starts to lift.

raise the jack by turning the handle clockwise until the tyre is completely suspended in air. it needs to be as high as shown in the photo, or else you won’t be able to remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare. But also make sure it’s no higher than needed. ensure the jack is perpendicular to the ground and that it is firmly in place against the underside of the car. While lifting, if the car is not stable, lower the jack and fix the problem before going any further.

When the car is safely suspended, take off the lug nuts the rest of the way by hand. afterwards, firmly grasp the flat tire and pull it out towards you to remove it completely from the wheel hub.

once the flat tyre is out of the way, lay it down flat somewhere and lift the spare tire onto the wheel hub. Put the lug nuts back on and tighten them by hand.

lower the car by turning the handle on the jack to anti-clockwise. once the car is firmly on the ground, tighten the lug nuts with the wheel wrench as much as you can. if required apply full body force on the wrench. Better to be safe than chasing after a runaway wheel.

once you’re done tightening the lug nuts, put your flat tyre in the trunk and visit a tyre shop to get it fixed. remember that the spare tyre is just there for temporary use and it does not have enough load hauling capacity as your regular tyres. it is recommended to switch back to the regular tyres as soon as possible. tahSin momin

Surviving Dhaka

Do you have what it takes to survive the streets of this crazy capital of ours? TMAG preps you for all of it

2-4-6-8, this is how we navigate! Natasha Rahman

Observe the roads on your way to school, keep an eye out on the route your chauffeur or the CNG/rickshaw takes for you to get to school. Note the shortcuts and the busy intersections, and within a week or so, you’ll have a pretty decent idea about the most efficient routes. When you have some time on your hands, take a rickshaw and explore narrow by-lanes in your area, but if you’re not accustomed to travelling in these areas on a ricky, take someone with you. Remember landmarks every area has one big store or building, or feature that stands out and can be used as a reference point when giving directions to someone. Familiarise yourself with the big landmarks in any area you travel through, and you’ll never be lost.

Last resort plankeep handy the phone numbers of electricians, car mechanics, and shops. imagine the worst case scenario; your tyre is flat out; you don’t have credit and you need to get moving before several cars start fuming behind you. instead of freaking out about what to do and cursing your life, take charge, make the call and learn the basics of changing a tyre and acquiring emergency balance for your phone. Roam the cityit’s not a walk in the park to roam the city in a CNG or a rickshaw, but this is the best practice you will get if you really want to saddle up and reach an event on time and get to know the area. rickshaw pullers are wizards; they will take you through alleys and streets from one corner of the city to another, and save you from the road rage that you’d face on the highway.

How not to be Bo Peep’s sheep on the mean Dhaka streets

Street side magiciansstanding on the roadsides day after day and selling books for double the price to the elites of the society, these little chipmunks deserve a standing ovation. hence, you better be all set to wage a bargain war with these smarties. No matter what the size, texture, colour the book is, always slope towards a figure that’s less than half the asking price and sTrike! That will stop them from getting cheeky with you and you may just get the book for peanuts.

An easy ride homeNow here is when things get tricky. No matter what, the CNG driver should never know that you don’t know jack about the rates. early mornings are peak time, so don’t sink into despair when they quote a price that could buy you one Nandos meal. you could either go soft and smile and cajole them to bring the price down, or you could throw a rate that would throw them off guard and make them zoom away. either way, you have got to hold your horses and let a few CNG’s break your heart till you get one that meets your budget, or stays within 20 bucks more than what you are prepared to pay.

Most teens don’t have the luxury of chauffeur-driven cars, and are thus more reliant on public transport. our public transport system may not be the best, but one has to play the cards one is dealt. here’s how to play it smart.

For starters, it is very hard to get lost in dhaka city. all you really need is to be street smart aka use logic, every step of the way. For instance, you have to go to a place you have never visited before. ask for directions, possible public transport routes and fares, landmarks and so on. half of your job here is done.

Moving on, if you are using a bus, you might have to travel in discomfort but if you prepare yourself, that won’t be a problem. logically speaking, there’s more pressure on the system during the rush hours (office or school hour traffic.) hence, timing is crucial. if you time yourself right, you’ll beat the traffic as well as shady characters invading your personal space.

Fare enough? When on a bus, ask fellow passengers about the actual fare if you do not know it. The “mamas” conducting aren’t always friendly

and might have an eye on milking your wallet. if they are still bargaining for two extra bucks, politely suggest that you are entitled to “student discounts,” which is usually half the fare.

Achtung, babyduring the ride, keep your wits about you. listen to music but don’t get lost on your favourite solo. Text, socialise online but don’t “log out” from reality. if it is late and you have expensive stuff on you, buses are probably safer than “CNGs” if you can keep a low profile. if you are travelling late at night, try not to wear anything too flashy. Try to avoid interaction with people and if anyone says anything to you, be polite while keeping the conversation brief.

Shake it off Moving on to the roads where there are so many things that can go wrong. avoid jaywalking altogether; there is a reason why the authorities provide foot over-bridges. you may encounter many jerks on the sidewalks who have nothing better to do apart from passing a comment at you or your friend(s). its best if you don’t give much attention to such characters. at times, ignorance really is bliss.

“It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems, longer.” - Albert Einstein

Beat that anxiety Building a certain level of confidence is essential for becoming an effective communicator. however, there’s no easy way to do this other than interacting with more and more people till you get used to it. start by acting friendly and making small talk in different social gatherings. Before you know it, you’ll be able to carry out heated up discussions and approach just about anyone.

Match their moodMatching the mood of the person you’re interacting with is absolutely vital. imagine relaxing in a chilled out state and someone screaming in your ears. it’s never a good mix. however, if you want to build rapport and effectively talk to someone, try mirroring the tone, loudness and their body language.

Keep it light, keep it simpleknowing what to say is also very important during every interaction. if you don’t know the person too well, stick to lighter topics. it’s always a good idea to avoid topics such as politics or religion. however, through the small talks, try and discover common interests. also remember, people love to talk about themselves. so ask them about their lives and listen to what they have to say, and act interested.

Finding the sweet spotWhen you feel a conversation is over, try not to drag it any further than it has to. it’s almost painful to force an interaction. Find the sweet spot and as soon as everything plays out, don’t be afraid to end it.

Assert yourself don’t be afraid to say no to things you’re not comfortable with. it can be difficult, but unless you get used to it, it can also be very easy for others to take advantage of you. if you’re not comfortable with something, politely decline. if you want something really bad, don’t be afraid to say it. others will respect you for your courage.

equally equalalways remember to treat others how you’d like to be treated. if you’re kind, friendly and treat them (no matter how rich, poor or any other adjective you can think of) as your equals; you’ll generally be more likeable as a person. Being mean, rude, patronising or condescending towards anyone is a big no no.

Manik, the protagonist of “Paatshala – the Movie” left his home and flew to the city with the dream of enrolling in a local school (pathshala). if one read the synopsis, they would start wondering as to what makes the story so extraordinary. and the answer to that is the fact that asif islam and Faisal roddy have always thrived to capture stories that were ignored and treated insignificantly within our society regardless of their immense values. asif says: “Many flamboyant events happen in the world every day. our world celebrates the olympics, the World Cup etc but how important is it for us to value the fact that young Manik wants to go to school? Therefore, our attempt is to bring these small stories out from the dark and into the light of public awareness.” Faisal explains it more

thoroughly by saying: “By using the word paatshala we don’t want to refer to an institution. rather, our objective is to convey the message – the whole world is your school. This means that you can learn from anywhere, from anyone at any time if you want to, and that too without denying the importance of school.” since their project’s inception, both film-makers wanted to make this the film’s core message. They were also hoping that this becomes apparent to the audience when they start watching the film.

asif and roddy believe they are making a film that would have a positive social effect. asif says: “We all keep expecting entertainment but by using that very medium, we can also make the society more aware of reality.” The film’s genre is very different and is probably

not something everyone might be interested in, but there is an audience for this film; is what they believe.

From brainstorming to filming a scene, writing script to producing dialogue, both asif and Faisal wouldn’t do anything without each other’s consents. Moreover, they are both perfectionists; no matter how much time and how many attempts are required, they aren’t cutting corners until they have a solid product at hand. instead of competing over petty issues they aim to work together and catapult the entire Bangladeshi film industry towards betterment.

asif desires to convey a message to the thousands of enthusiasts who want to become a film maker: “Nowadays

making a film is just not that expensive as it used to be, thanks to the digital age.” he believes that anyone can film with a dslr camera; even a Cannon 5d camera is more than enough to film beautiful videos. according to him, cost is not that big of a problem as is marketing. he says: “The more you advertise the more popularity you gain and people get to know about your work.”

however, the thought of a big budget film during these infant stages haunts Faisal since it may just put an end to their dreams. he suggests: “how far you can you go with your dream does not always depend on the budget. if you have a good perspective then you should pursue your dream.” n

dating shows have been around for several decades now, and as much as one hates on them, it’s hard to deny they have a baddictive quality to them. keira Cass taps into this in her bizarre spin on Cinderella, namely the selection series.

The skinnyPrince Maxon, heir to the throne of ilea (formerly america, go figure) must select his future bride from a pool of thirty five eligible young women, selected from all walks of life, from the classes to the masses. These princesses-in-waiting are brought to the castle and expected to win his heart in a televised series called the selection. amongst the

favourites is our protagonist, america singer, who is kinda more like elsa (Frozen) meets Merida (Brave) than Cinderella, and she is in this game for reasons that have nothing to do with meeting her Prince Charming.

as we progress through the books, we discover more about the political landscape, and the class system that exists in the land, as well as the global politics of the world Cass has created, until we realise that there’s a lot more at stake than a royal wedding.

The consWhere do we start? The stories lack focus; should we care more about the romance(s) being carried out, or the budding friendships amongst the

girls? should we be feeling some sort of sympathy for the oppressed classes, or suspense regarding the motives of the rebels that continually plague the royal family? The characters are also inconsistent; and america singer may well be the most annoying female protagonist since Bella swan.

The prosstill a better love story than Twilight

The verdictThis is the Froot loops of dystopian fantasy. suspenseful, interesting enough to be a page turner, but ultimately you get nothing out of it.

our world crumbles ever so often that we never realise when it’s whole. Think back to the easy days. Not an ounce of malice or disdain dwelled in any of our hearts, when we all used to join hands and link fingers, so as to run in the same direction with a sense of unity and equality among us. We stood together with “us against the world” attitudes and were ready to face the future.

The future brought with it dilapidation of that ever so strong wall. it exhumed our feelings and left most of us desolate, empty. That mutual cheery feeling we all had has now vanished. look at most of us now, once best friends, now strangers. This very concept of endless possibilities in life is rather baffling. Maybe the future brought with it a test, a test to see how strong our wall really is. happiness is lurking around here somewhere; our task being to find it. allies and enemies are made, so be it.

Nobody is here to guide the way; nobody is here to give us a map. We follow what we think is right, be it the melodious chirping of birds, be it the rays of sunlight pouring in through the windows, be it the whirl of laughter in the atmosphere, be it anything. This task takes us back to the easy days; we’re playing a game of hide-and-seek. There is no time to feign interest in anything, there is no time for false policies, because soon “happiness” might get tired of hiding and just quit the game altogether. Who wins then?

Believe it or not, this story is not only true but a common one in dhaka. For generations, kids and teenagers came to believe, without the influence from drugs and alcohol; you’re bound to suffer from creative impotency. attempting a shorter road to creative success, it’s extremely easy to mask the lack of dedication using drugs and alcohol. Claiming, without it, it’s not possible to be good. But in reality, the complete opposite is true. Musicians such as Jimmy Page, lead guitarist of led Zeppelin, struggled with his own solos on stage during his issues with drugs.

a musician is not just someone who knows how to play an instrument, likes to party and get really drugged up when practicing/writing. a musician is someone who not only knows how to play but loves, feels and understands music. starting out as a fledgling musician, there are a couple of fundamental foundations one needs to build in order to be good over the years.

Music Theorylearning music theory will open up your mind to endless possibilities and options. it’ll change the way you write or play for the better.

Know your Basicslet’s be honest, the absolute basic exercises are mind numbingly boring. you’d want to move on to something more interesting or complex. however, no matter how boring, the basic exercises are to help you bond with your instrument and teach you hands what the mind wants to play.

Keeping up with the tempoeven if you know how to play a song, it won’t make much of a difference if you can’t keep up with the timing. always practice with a metronome. however, if you can’t get your hands on one, practice with the songs. it’s an easy way to fix any issues one might have with keeping up with the tempo.

Find a Teacherin the age of the internet, it’s not always necessary to find a teacher. however, if you are going to a teacher, a steady pressure and focused lessons will help you reach your goals faster.

JammingWhen you’re playing with other people, it’s easy to realise that everyone has something to teach. apart from picking up new techniques, you’ll handle tempo and synchronisation much better. Not to forget, it crazy fun.

Taking the stageit takes a significant amount of confidence going up on stage. The nervousness can easily make you mess up a song you know very well. however, overcoming that anxiety is a vital part of truly becoming a musician. don’t wait around for the perfect band, show or slot. Just take to the stage! Shah nahian

He sat down with an acoustic guitar, admired it for a while, and started to strum away. It looked like he had difficulty playing basic chords, but this wasn’t the first time he held a guitar. Whatever he tried doing didn’t sound good at all and it wasn’t long before he lost interest and handed the guitar back to me. “I don’t play well unless I’m high,” he said, before moving on to finding something else to do

Not many of us take the time to find out who actually spent an endless amount of time making something for us in the hopes of entertaining us. Well it’s time to give a little bit of credit to where it’s due.

For example, meet Guy ritchie. he became one of Britain’s most talked-about directors after “lock, stock and Two smoking Barrels” debuted in 1998 and put him on the map. ritchie’s style is a mixture of dark crime, humorous action and comedy. he came back with that style in “snatch” another dark humorous comedy from the year 2000. With the success of “lock, stock and Two smoking Barrels,” he got hollywood’s attention and worked with the likes of Brad Pitt and Benicio del Toro in the movie “snatch.” Both these films were set in london, focusing on the gangsters and received great critical and commercial success. however, fame did scoot away from him when his

2002 film “swept away” featuring his wife back then, Madonna, was avoided by the masses. The films that followed, such as “revolver” in 2005 wasn’t that great. We missed the loud pumping soundtracks, cool violence, smart-mouthed flashy characters, fast editing, and multi-pronged plots that got ritchie to where he was so far. however, his movie “rocknrolla” in 2008, took us back to that. he received criticism for it, but the general consensus was that it was pretty good. But just a year later, he took off once more by making an adaptation of our favourite detective novels, sherlock holmes. he directed both “sherlock holmes” which was nominated for two oscars in 2010, including Best achievement in “Music Written for Motion Picture” and “sherlock holmes: a Game of shadows” starring robert downey Jr and Jude law. ritchie was also nominated for Best director by the academy of

science Fiction, Fantasy and horror usa. ritchie’s latest project, began filming in the fall of 2013, an adaptation of The Man from u.N.C.l.e., featuring henry Cavill and armie hammer. it is set to be released in 2015.

as for his personal life, Guy stuart ritchie was born on september 10, 1968, in the town of hatfield, located in hertfordshire, england. Growing up, he struggled with dyslexia and attended a number of different schools. he never went to film school after he dropped out at the age of 15. he struggled with odd jobs and such for the next few

years of his life, working with friends in small commercials etc. in 1988, during his debut success he married pop star Madonna, and had a son, rocco John, in august 2000. in december of that year, they got married. They adopted a child david Banda in 2006. however, their love eventually fizzled out in 2008, when the couple filed for a divorce. in 2010, ritchie began seeing model Jacqui ainsley and they too had three beautiful kids.

also who would have thought that Guy ritchie would be a Chelsea fan?

“Sherlock Holmes,” “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” and of course “Snatch” are among some the movies you must have heard about in the last decade and a half. But come to think of it, do we actually know who directed these movies?

Nothing beats a big, juicy mouthful of chicken/beef steak cooked to perfection; and no one does it better than Mostakim (never seen by mortals). it’s not simply the food, but the environment which makes the Mostakim experience so amazing. located near Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur, this place is a definite recommendation.

Grilled chicken with Naan. Nothing new here right? Just the usual; till you taste it. The chicken is perfectly cooked and moist, the bread feels like cotton, and the sweet and spicey sauces have just the right balance. The restaurant is located a bit further than rampura Bazar (travelling towards Malibagh) on the left side of the main road.

sunAMi restAurAnt

The initial “T” may be missing from the name, but the “kacchi biriyani” this place serves will cause a tsunami in your mouth nevertheless. it’s a bit different than the ones most people are used to, but the originals always are. The place can be found beside the Jigatola bus stand in dhanmondi

tAj MAhAl restAurAnt

Just beside Banani super Market (in Banani of course!), this particular Taj Mahal is probably the uglier sister of the real thing. however, a new found site for kebabs may be discovered once you have tried theirs. reshmi kebab, boti kebab, shikh kebab, you name it; shahjahan’s fake restaurant will not disappoint (but may scratch the wallet slightly more when compared to the others from the list).

bhAPA PithA

Basically steamed rice cake with coconut slices and caramelised cane sugar, “Bhapa Pitha” is an absolute winter delight. it’s best experienced when you stand and watch it being made fresh for you in seconds. Trouble is, including “Pitha Ghar” shops on Baily road and uttara sector 3, it can be found practically everywhere in dhaka during winter. if you located the other restaurants, this one should be a piece of cake (pun intended) to track down.
