Earn a minimum core-course GPA of 2.300.

BEFORE TAKINGNONTRADITIONALCOURSES

Consider these requirements. A nontraditionalcourse:

Must include regular ongoing access betweenthe instructor and student.

Must have a defined time period forcompletion (e.g.] eight weeks).

Should be clearly identified as a nontraditionalcourse on the student’s high school transcript.

DI CORE-COURSETIME LIMITATION

When you enter ninth grade] youhave four years (eight semesters)to complete your core-courserequirement.

If you do not complete high schoolon time, your core courses takenafter high school will not counttoward NCAA requirements.

On time: if your high schoolgraduation takes place June 1, youmust graduate June 1. If you donot graduate on June 1, you don’thave the opportunity to utilize the“plus 1” option.
