VIF Limits for API SN RC, SAE XW-16 At the October 11, 2017 Lubricants Group meeting there was a CLOG recommendation to adopt Seq. VIF Limits for API SN Resource Conserving, SAE xW-16 engine oils. After a review of the data a motion was made to eBallot on the Adoption of API SN RC, SAE XW-16 at Seq. VIF Limits. The Motion to Ballot is given below: Ballot Motion CLOG Recommendation Ballot adoption of API SN RC, SAE XW-16 at Seq. VIF Limits of FEI2 = 1.8% Min. FEI Sum = 3.7% Min. Motion: Gail Evans Second: Mike Alessi Approved by Unanimous Voice Vote The LG Approved the Ballot Motion by Unanimous Voice Vote and agreed to send an eBallot to adopt Seq. VIF Limits for API SN RC, SAE xW-16. A draft of the revised Table G-5 is included on the eBallot website. Also provided are a Seq. VIF-VID Status and the Toyota Proposal to establish the Seq.
