SmartphoneSmart phones are regarded to be the new revolution

in business and education. They have so many advantages compared to the feature phones.

Educationally they can be used in such a manner that students don’t need to carry around large bags with laptops, but already have hand held computers.

Due to the large processing power, multi-tasking is very possible.

Smart phones are now mainstream devices within South African businesses.

Enterprises should now be looking at what smart phones mean for their businesses in a more strategic and holistic fashion.

ConclusionAs seen from above, it can be deduced that the smart

phone has crept into our lives and has taken the human race like a plague, affecting all areas of our lives, socially, educational and business more-so-over all age groups.

Thus saying, it can be seen that this loved device can play either a negative or positive impact in our various day-to-day lives.

If given a choice to take a smart phone or not, that would not be a hard choice, because being a social person, my connection with friends would be easier and being a student, it would help organise my timetables and even do assignments on the go.

However I would still get a cell phone which does not have functions found on smart phones because the battery life lasts longer, and it does not attract as much attention from potential thieves.
