This guide describes a simple and complete path to activating Direct Connect capabilities

between the bank and the Quicken software. For this guide, we are using Quicken 2015.

To Enable Quicken for Personal Users

1. After logging into Online Banking, scroll over Account Services, and under Direct

Connect select Manage Access for Quicken® / QuickBooks®

2. Under the Enroll section, click on the Enroll button

3. Select Confirm.

PLEASE NOTE: This authorizes the bank to deduct all fees relating to Direct Connect from your account. The monthly fee is $9.95* with unlimited online sessions. *If you are in Direct Connect Checking, then this service is FREE. To learn more about Direct Connect Checking, please contact the bank.

4. Congratulations. You may now set up your bank accounts within Quicken.

To help protect the privacy and security of your information, the initial enrollment period is valid for two hours. This will provide you with ample time to establish your data file within Quicken.

Click Finish.

5. If you need additional time for the initial download, please click on Add Data File within the Direct Connect page of Online Banking. This will provide you with an additional two hours in which you can set up your initial connection with the bank from within your Quicken software.

Installing and Setting Up Intuit Quicken for Windows

1. Install Quicken

Insert the Quicken CD and follow the installation instructions. (If you downloaded Quicken, run

the installer program that was included with your download).

2. Register Quicken ID

When you start Quicken for the first time, a dialogue box will ask you if you are a new user or a

returning user. Select the one that applies to you. For new users, once you process the initial

Quicken ID registration it will then ask you to add account.

Select the Checking or Savings account option and type the name of your bank in and it will

search for matches. Below is a list of Central Bancompany banks. The middle column is how

Quicken has them labeled.

One you select your bank, you may need to click “Advanced Setup” to choose Direct Connect.

Now you will need to enter in you the User ID and Password you use to login to Online Banking

at the bank’s website. Enter in your User ID and Personal Password. Click the Connect button.

Once Quicken has successfully communicated with the bank, your Account Setup is Complete!

The Home page is where you can add your basic financial information to help you get the most

out of Quicken. There are a number of options on this page and it is suggested that you enter

the following at the very least:

Your Checking and Savings Accounts

Your Bills and Deposits

Simply click the Get Started button in the Monthly Bills or Budget section to begin building out

Quicken®.

Note: Quicken will not connect to Online Banking for automatic downloads until you have registered for

Direct Connect through Online Banking. You must have enabled Direct Connect in Online Banking

within two hours before completing this step. If you have not enabled Direct Connect within Online

Banking, you will need to do so. If two hours have lapsed, please sign into Online Banking, scroll over

Account Services and click on Manage Access to Quicken® / QuickBooks® under Direct Connect. On

the Direct Connect page, click on Add Data File.
