What scene?

• I chose the courtroom scene (chapter 17) because I felt that this scene was the most entertaining and there was also many perspectives I could've talk about.

Scout's perspective

• In this scene, Scout is confused at first and does not fully understand what Tom was accused of doing. She was not entertained and she says "So far, things we utterly dull...".

Mr. Ewell's perpective• I asume that Mr. Ewell

isn't nervous at all. I think he believes that everything will go his way and that his lawyer will handle the situation perfectly. I can tell because of the way Mr. Ewell answers questions, and his lack of seriousness at some points.

Judge Taylor's perspective• Judge Taylor could've been

leaning towards Mr. Ewell and his side just because of the racism that was present back then. Although Judge Taylor didn't really seem like the person to judge before hearing both sides, it could've been a possiblity. But he also could've thought that just by the appearence of Mr. Ewell and his non-professional actions that he could be lying right off the start.
