Hover- be in a fluttering, suspended, or lingering state
Baffle- frustrate by confusing or puzzling
Meditative- given to, characterized by, or indicative of meditation; contemplative
Perpetrate- commit esp. a crime, blunder, or other outrageous act
Ingenuous- not trying to hide one’s feelings or intentions; simple and artless
Diversion- something that takes somebody’s attention away from something else; change of purpose or direction; pastime
