Walking along "borders" of memory and history, landscape and identity, I highlight important contexts influencing the potential of a participatory approach in borderland revitalization. "The Anthropology View" is published as a trilingual chapter (CZ, EN, GE) in "Renewal of Czech-German Border Landscape" book of Klara Salzmann and collective. It is one of the outcomes of an international project on landscape restoration of Czech-German borderlands using the village of Vyskovice as a model.
