    Objective

Objective of this presentation is to

demonstrate the ways to save energy in FIIB.

    2. Power strip

A power strip (also known as an extension block, power

board, plug board and by many other variations) is a block of

electrical sockets that attaches to the end of a

flexible cable (typically with a mains plug on the other end),

allowing multiple electrical devices to be powered from a single

    electrical socket.

Power strips are often used when many electrical devices are in

proximity, such as for audio/video and computer systems.

Power strips often include a circuit breaker to safely limit

the electric current flowing through them.

    3. Checklist the consumption

Perhaps the best approach to get started with

conserving electricity or saving energy overall

is to reflect on how much institute is

    consuming on an annual basis.

This will help to put energy consumption into

perspective and potential for saving energy via

    various energy conservation initiatives.

    5. Solar power

FIIB got huge space for installing solar power panel.
