DESCRIPTION
TOB Integration TOB meeting, TOB transport to building 186 Fork-lift was needed to be used in this transport - not really ideal. In 186 upstairs and downstairs we can use cranes – much better. Truck needed anyways. “Multi-layer” plastic protection was ok for this transport. But need to make better, and safer protection for the later transport to the new clean room, quite likely to be done with rods inside the wheel.TRANSCRIPT

The TOB fits!
… even if clearances reduced from nominal 10 mm to 2-3 mm at thermal screen connections.Further clearance losses must not happen.

Hybrid tail bent “à la FNAL” is ok !Proposed change to this bending for all remaining modules.
But this loose HV-wire is NOT ok!Must ensure that all wires firmly attached.

To do (1/2)To do (1/2)
• Test insertion and pipe soldering of a Double-Sided rod• Accessibility, fume extraction, cleanliness, disconnecting the cooling pipes
• Complete preparation of lab 186 (upstairs) for the present integration work
• He, dry air, C6F14 lines• He leak detector
• Assembly of the Cooling segment 2.6.2 with its 19 FNAL “Pre-Rods”• Pipe soldering• Cabling• Functional tests (power, ctrl, read-out)• Development and testing of work platforms, tooling, etc.
• Get ready (by end of October) to start final Rod assembly• Dismount pre-assembled Cooling segment 2.6.2, and re-assemble with final Rods• Solve all unforeseen…
