Success Criteria

• This is a statement – NEVER a question!

• It is a statement that you can test to see if it is true or false.

• It is a statement that you can prove or disprove.

Modern Studies.• A good hypothesis will be slightly

provocative or exaggerated. • Such hypothesis are easier to

prove or disprove.

• Try and come up with a hypothesis- it can be on any subject.

• Write this down in your jotter. • Share the answers with the person

next to you. • Class discussion.

• In the exam, your hypothesis MUST relate to the TOPIC and must be quite SPECIFIC.

• For example if you were carrying out an investigation about HEALTH:
