Young People – A Unique Solution

• Have born digital skills – skills which are needed by businesses

• Make an immediate difference and impact to business – have something to teach business!

• Not necessarily the problem – part of solution

• Spend six hours per day connected!

• Need to be engaged through social/digital routes

• Need to move away from ‘traditional’ vocational routes e.g. retail, hairdressing. New jobs knowledge-based

within young people.

• Move away from traditional learning styles – eLearning and mobile learning is in tune with school and young
