Toilet Roll Octopus

You will need:

2 Paint the toilet paper roll green. If you don’t have green paint, you can cut out green paper and glue it around the toilet paper roll.

3 Carefully cut out the octopus’s tentacles from the Octopus Template, or draw and cut your own onto painted green card and cut them out with zig zag scissors.

5 Cut the octopus’s headband out of yellow paper, or use the Octopus Template. Glue it around the top of the tube to cover the green paper.

6 Glue the googly eyes on to the tube. If you don’t have googly eyes, you can use the eyes from the Octopus Template, or draw your own with a black pen. Draw a smile on to the octopus with a red felt tip.

88 Finally, curl the tentacles by rolling each one around a pencil, holding it in place for about 10 seconds, before taking the pencil.

Cut out a circle of green paper, or use the circle from the Octopus Template. The circle needs to be bigger that the circle of the tube. Glue the circle onto the top.

Stick the small coloured dots on all over the tube and the tentacles. If you don’t have sticky dots, you can use the circle from the Octopus Template, or draw your own with a felt tip. Glue the tentacles on the inside of the tube, at the bottom.
