TPS students, in collaboration with Radiant City Arts, celebrated the diversity of hip-hop culture and the creative process through dance-offs, beat battles, poetry slams, and visual art

Circle 2445’s Murder Mystery event was a success! Nearly 200
participants helped solve the mystery of who-done-it

TMA took home multiple awards from the 2016 ADDY Awards in Toledo, including Gold for The Rise of Sneaker Culture exhibition commercial.

TSO hosted Pink Martini in the Peristyle.
Handcrafted martini pitchers and glasses were made in the Hot Shop for the occasion

Production in the Hot Shop increased substantially in 2016, including Volo—a glass sculpture made for ProMedica’s new Health and Wellness Center

TMA made their first submission to the Museum Dance Off Competition,

June through July, docents conducted monthly “twilight tours” of Human Landscape. At 80 participants each, all 3 tours were sold out!

Lifetime Membership Award from the Glass
Art Society during their annual
conference in Corning, New York

Fiscal Year 2016 ended with growing attendance numbers in studio art classes, public programming, and overall visitation.
