I am a front-end developer with over 10 years’ experience in developing clients’ ideas into concrete products. Working across a broad range of disciplines including UX, SEO and UI design; I have increased the traffic, retentions and conversions for businesses ranging from startups to global brands.

My background in media and design has given me a rich breadth of experience and transferable skills that I bring to development. I enjoy learning as well as sharing my skills and would like to move into a technical lead or architect role in the future. Working in multiple roles for schools, colleges, youth offending teams, prisons, arts organisations, and with individual artists; I have created and collaborated on theatre, short film, documentary, photography, comput-er games, graffiti walls and graphic design projects. These roles have been challenging and involved a lot of improvisation. Using the arts to teach softer skills as well as core STEAM subjects is something I am a passionate advocate for.

I enjoy drawing and painting as well as producing graphics as part of an arts production team that create artwork for music festivals. I love learning about new tech, trying out new ideas and building things. I am fascinated by internet security, and have attended quite a few Electronic Frontier Foundation meetups. Most recently I have been experimenting with Arduinos and learning to use Python to create visuals for music performances.
