The fairy tale unfolded yesterday to reveal the Spirit of the Mountain for the very first time. The people of TomorrowWorld stood ceremoniously with flags and cameras held high. A world traveller arose to the occasion with telescope in tow, a symbol of our individual and collective expedition to the world of Tomorrow. The Spirit of the

Mountain recounted the knowledge that the people of Tomorrow are now witnessing for themselves, the knowledge that we are all equal. We are all made of ancient stardust. We are all one. The universe connects us. And now, we are united in this land of fire, water, lights and mythical creatures. We are united by the music.

Yesterday morning was quite a site to see. It was the official first day in the world of Tomorrow and even before noon had yet to sneak around a plethora of beer-pong games and hookahs were already in action. People were arising, some happy, some tired, but all of them certainly excited and ready to begin the adventure. Walking around and over-hearing the stories of the full-blown decadence from the night before

was a voyage in itself. Everywhere you looked you could see people suiting-up, gearing-up and getting ready to unleash their full-blown character of their alter ego of Tomorrow. People-watching amongst Dreamville was a popular activity as well. How could it not be? There were so many beautiful, happy, smiling faces just elated to be exactly where they were.

For those with strained muscles from all the heavy backpacks and suitcases, there are daily yoga sessions from 9 ‘till 10am. Stretch, turn ‘n melt into postures under the watchful eye of The Gathering stage. The Vinyasa Flow Yoga lessons here are best described as ‘yogic dance.’ Bring a towel or a mat and a bottle of water and be prepared to sweat! If you’re not warmed up enough after that, starting at 11am there’s the Daily Bass Body Sessions. That’s pretty much what it sounds like. A workout program that fuses EDM with cardio, aerobics and dance moves, all to create a happy and especially healthy rave workout. You’ll definitely want a towel and some water for this one!

The name says it all when it comes to the purpose behind this group of vibe-spreading bandits. They were joined together by the power of the internet and became an official family when they finally met here at TomorrowWorld. Thirty tents large and fifty people deep, they all work together like family because they believe it enhances the experience in a whole new way. According to Steven, one of the leaders, they feel as though they are creating “a city within a city within a festival.” A city indeed and one that is nothing short of remarkable. Operating smoothly and vicariously as one unit, this happy, loving and ready-to-share good vibes tribe stands to be an amazing addition to the entire TomorrowWorld family.”

uNDIE ALLEYDance in your underpants with the people of “Undie Alley” Misleading at first with a scissor-shaped sign that reads “Free Vasectomies” their motto remains to be quite the opposite. Their slogan goes as follows: “Nothing sexual, just good old fashion fun in your undies. No perverts allowed.” It all began last year when a few people decided to start dancing free in their underpants at the Mainstage of TomorrowWorld 2013. It was there they stumbled upon the name, “undie Alley,” and the rest is history. New friendships blossomed and a new gang was created. Since then, the crew has grown online and now they are joined together yet again to simply dance in their underpants. According to the group, it was the undies that united them together.”

TEAm mAu5DeadMau5 might not be here, but he is being properly represented The inception of this iconic crew all started with the advent of a man named Dave traversing the cyber world of Instagram. He grabbed the attention of fellow DeadMau5 lovers with his distinctive ability to create unique Deadmau5 helmets. After that, it was the power of the internet yet again that helped create this mau5-loving gang. They began conversing on a ghostmau5 chat room, and ever since they have become a family. According to one of the pioneers, Gin, they tell each other everything and are always there for each other when one of the members finds themselves feeling low. They are there for each other through thick and thin and then unite in person with festival opportunities like TomorrowWorld to celebrate their friendship through the unified love of Deadmau5.

If you wander away from the Mainstage towards the forest, you will find a magical little space where you can smooch your beloved. Candy pixies will be there to take your picture and even provide fun props! A sign reads, "only kissing here," so keep it light and airy people. Why not make a sweet memory and capture a special moment with a photo of you and your main man or main woman on top of a giant piece of peppermint candy?

Who doesn’t love a fun pool party? The T-Mobile Pool Party Deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of the Mainstage while you go for a refreshing swim. Any clouds that may still be lingering in the sky are not scaring anyone away from splashing around with TomorrowWorld beach balls and drinks in hand! This decked-out spot also has convenient charging stations to power up while you pool party down. You can also load your TW bracelet with money to make purchases at the poolside bar, which serves up beer and cocktails. Tents for lounging and photo booths for getting silly and capturing memorable moments ensure there’s plenty to see and do here all with the Mainstage music as the soundtrack. As they were cooling off and having a blast, some of the people of TomorrowWorld said, “We came to the pool deck to enjoy the best view of the Mainstage!”

LOVE IS A DRuG WORTH TAKINGHigh on life, addicted to dancing, hopped up on music. The energy flowing through the veins of the festival is a drug that nobody ever wants to come down from. So what is the driving force behind this euphoric feeling? There is something deeper out there, something that goes beyond the music, costumes and fun-loving people. So we, the reporters of TomorowWorld Today, decided to go on a hunt determined to uncover this unapparent element that was powering such an immaculate feeling. After taking a closer look, we quickly saw what it was, where it was coming from. It can be described in just one word: Love. Yes, it was love. Pure and simple love.

After this discovery, we instantly wanted to get to know some of these beautiful creatures that shamelessly display their affectionate emotions and learn about the essence of their enchanting stories. We soon found out that they were in fact everywhere we looked and that we barely needed to move but a few feet to find them. If only we could see more unconditional love like this out there in the “real” world. unfortunately, that is not the case, so for now we will continue to soak in the beauty that surrounds us while taking a few moments to appreciate their romantic and picturesque narratives.

After interviewing dozens of couples from all different backgrounds, it was revealed to us that the history really does help define the current reality of their interaction. The first couple we were drawn to can be best described as goth-meets-rave and what we deem to be “a couple made in festival heaven.” Their saga began in a nightclub where he was ironically dressed as Harry from the movie Dumb and Dumber, and she was celebrating her birthday in the VIP lounge. She blew him off immediately but it must have been written in the stars because she ended up at his doorstep. He was throwing the after-party, and she arrived unaware. His charm took over and before she knew it, the man that she once passed off would soon become her new boo. After that night, it was love in the making. The rest is history.

You have the stories straight from the romance novels, and then you have the ones that are a little less predictable but equally engaging. Take the Waldo twosome for instance. He was on his way to meet another girl until a phone call came in with the news that she would be at a certain party that night. He immediately ditches his first date simply to go see his crush. When we asked why and was it the beauty she holds that drew him to her that night? He said no, and replied with the most unanticipated answer imaginable. According to him, there is a particular type of curvature that some woman have on their buttocks. He couldn’t remember her name but he never forgot her ass. As soon as they both arrived at the party, there was an instant connection. That day was 2 ½ years ago. Since then, they have traveled the world together as a dynamic duo, which is why they chose “Waldo” getups as their avatars for the day.

These are just two of the heart-warming stories we had the privilege of hearing today. While each story was unique, they all concluded with our favorite part to any great tale: A happy ending. We, the reporters of the TomorrowWorld Today, learned a very valuable lesson yesterday here at the festival. We learned that fairy tales really do come true, and they have the propensity to change lives forever, especially in a place like this where love becomes the most potent drug of all.

company and great conversation. Handmade food grilled up together with love will satisfy your mind, body and soul!

Live DJ performances add to this island-inspired environment with deep, tribal music that will have you surfing the sound waves. Water misters and a tropical bar complete the Rita Island scene making it the perfect place to take it easy, island-style. Those ice cold Raspberry margaritas look tasty, too! Islanders can kick back in oversized chairs and loungers or play a friendly game of bean bag toss. DJs will be spinning just the right tunes to keep you in the island spirit. Tong will surely be treating the people of Tomorrow to some “World Exclusives.” As a world famous DJ for BBC Radio 1, Tong is known for introducing brand new EDM anthems turning them into instant hits. He is also the purveyor of the “Essential Mix,” which has seen exclusive series from artists including Wilkinson of Ram Records. The people of TomorrowWorld can experience artists such as John Digweed, Claude VonStroke and of course the man himself, Pete Tong. Be ready for one bumping, bass-filled ride!

EDM superstar Skrillex is the man behind OWSLA. The label is known to host a wide variety of dance music flavors. A popular favorite is TC’s “Get Down Low” a trappish-dnb anthem that smashes dance floors worldwide. OWSLA also is Skillex’s home for his releases, Bangarang LP and Recess LP. The OWSLA stage at TomorrowWorld features Skillex, Milo & Otis, Alex Metric, Jack Beats and Foreign Beggars. Expect a mix of Trap, House, Dubstep, Hip Hop and Drum N Bass music from the OWSLA camp. With recent releases such as “Wait Till Tomorrow,” “Cloudbreaker” and the forthcoming “King Cobra,” Yves V once again has the EDM circuit in suspense. Bringing the house vibe all the way from Belgium, Yves V has rocked the stages of Tomorrowland and now is ready to smash at TomorrowWorld. His tracks are in the USB sticks and Serato crates of such artists as Tiesto, Hardwell and Sander Van Doorn. With an ever-expanding fan base and chart-worthy bangers, this Belgian DJ is a force to be reckoned with.

Do you have a release date for “King Cobra”?”Not yet. We are trying to push for release but do not have a date yet. Also my new collab with Sidney Sampson does not have a date yet. It feels great that people are asking about it and I hope to have info soon!”

You work a lot with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. How did you meet those guys?”I cannot recall exactly where but I have known them for about 7 years. We are both residents of Tomorrowland. I love sharing the stage with those guys and enjoy working on tracks with them, as well.”

How was your set at The Gathering and how dit the crowd respond to that?”It was amazing! I did a tag set with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. It is a tradition for us to play together at Tomorrowland at the DreamVille stage. It was a shorter set, since we are going to play a few more times at TomorrowWorld.The crowd went crazy! You can tell they were very happy to be here, lots of dancing and jumping around! We did a few older crowd favorites, and they loved it!”

What do you DJ on? How about to produce?”I play on CDJs using uSB sticks. I am not using Rekordbox yet but will be looking at that in the future. I like to improvise, but for a big set like TomorrowWorld, I like to prep a bit more. I plan a few mixes or know I am going to play certain tunes. I am always mixing live. It is important to be able to react to the crowd!”

”I also like to prepare a few mashups, which I produce in Ableton and Logic. For original tracks I use Cubase and Logic. I have used both for a long time and love the workflow.”

How do you decide who to collab with?”Sometimes I work with people who I am touring with. It is a lot of fun to try the tune out during our sets on the tour. Really, it’s people who

I feel a good connection with and will have FuN with the project!”

What is your favorite part of TomorrowWorld?”I feel at home here! I have been playing the main stage at Tomorrowland for 8 years, and this is the same feeling and vibe! I know all the people here, the crew, management, artists, etc.”

Anything else the People of Tomorrow should know? ”I am going to do a tag set with Sidney Sampson today on the Anthem stage! He was here, and I asked him to join me. We are just going to freestyle, and I am excited to play with him!”

We don’t have to tell Alex Metric to think outside the box. Never sticking to one genre, he mixes it up whatever way he feels like. unlike others who take life a little too seriously, Metric describes his music as “less of a steady build… more of a really really unsafe rollercoaster.” Believe us, that rollercoaster ride is fun! His genre-hopping sound is what makes Metric a one-of-a-kind DJ and the good news is, he wants his music to reach as far and wide as possible… and he has made it. His music will be heard in our realm hidden from civilization, deep within the forests of Chattahoochee Hills. We are pretty sure his music will reach even further now that he is working with so many other artists. For his remixes he has teamed up with non-EDM artists like N.E.R.D and he also produces albums for other DJs, including Adam Freeland.

These are two Dutch newbies to the scene! According to grandmaster Hardwell, however, Vicetone have a distinctly non-Dutch sound. The two childhood friends started making music only two years ago and have made quite a name for themselves in this short period of time – thanks in part to a little help from Nicky Romero. Nicky discovered their mind-blowing tracks on the internet and gave them a call. What started as a simple phone call ended in a collaboration with one of the hottest DJs of the moment. Nicky took the boys under his wings and produced a track with them. Vicetone barely made it due to problems with airplanes, but they joined Nicky Romero on stage during the Miami Music Week for a first-row spot at their own collab’s premiere. The Nicky Romero & Victone track ‘Let Me Feel’ will be released in just a week – but Vicetone, if you are reading this, let us hear it already!

Having left school in the seventies to become a DJ, Pete Tong has lived his dream ever since. We could write a book about Pete’s career, a story mirroring the entire history of dance music over the last twenty-five years. For his outstanding achievements, Pete received a British decoration out of the hands of Prince William himself. He truly is living a fairy tale life! Pete has graced the sound systems of almost every major club and festival, leading to a spectacular influence throughout the dance music scene and a personal BBC Radio 1 show. The ‘Pete Tong Push’ helps young talent to make it out there, as the veteran DJ often uses his show as a platform for new talent. But his own name remains the most famous of all – “It’s all gone Pete Tong” is used as slang in England and there is a film with the same title. Oh, and a big Ibiza club night. Pete has it all.

Hate it or love it, Skrillex does whatever he wants. He is known as the king of dubstep, and it’s his music that first converted many to dubstep and EDM at large. His track ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ became a huge success, and all of a sudden the whole world knew what dubstep sounded like – and who Skrillex was. But he has a lot more to offer genre-wise. His live sets are a whirlpool of different styles. And when we say different, we

mean different. So when Skrillex takes over the DJ booth, don’t be surprised if you hear one of your favorite Disney songs pumping through the speakers after a hip-hop or hardstyle track. Skrillex’s wide-ranging musical palette has served him well. He won six Grammys, and he travels from one big festival to the next. And wherever he goes, he always makes the crowd go crazy.

Sometimes everything just falls into place. For the Belgian duo Wolfpack, that moment occurred during their debut at Tomorrowland in 2011. With a smashing set they swept Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike off their feet, leaving them wondering where the hell these two guys came from. It didn’t really matter, ‘cause as soon as they could, Dimitri & Mike signed up Wolfpack on their own imprint Smash the House. Two

years later and Wolfpack is still going as strong as at that special first performance. They’ve released club hits like ‘Rising Moon’ and ‘Miracle’, and even collaborated on the TomorrowWorld anthem ‘Ocarina’ with their guardian angels Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. They’re most definitely here to stay, so why don’t you join the Wolfpack as well?

Buckle up! This guy goes hard! The Oddword’s live-reputation is notorious, and you’d better prepare yourself for one of the wildest gigs you’ve ever seen. With his active and hyped-up mood, recently-gone-solo Boy Kortekaas makes the crowds go crazy. Never seen moshpits, ‘walls of death’ or sitdowns at a festival? Then you never saw The Oddword. Extreme dance maneuvers, flailing limbs and roaring crowds are not unusual when this guy from Belgium is

behind the decks. With a gig at TomorrowWorld 2013 and innumerable performances at Tomorrowworld under his belt, he knows exactly what the People of Tomorrow want. He is here for those who like it raw. The Oddword sound IS raw, as well as utterly unpredictable. And hard. His fusion of raw electronic bass music with electro and techy beats will make you dance like you never have before.

My Nu Leng has a master plan to take over the EDM scene, but don’t let their name fool you. ‘Leng’ is British slang for a gun or a weapon, but all My Nu Leng needs for their plans is their own music. They take down the walls between several oldschool uK genres with their hard-to-categorize sound. The Bristol duo takes house and strips it to its bare components, blending in dubstep, 2-step, garage and grime. My Nu Leng constructs devastating club tracks that envelop

you in deep bass and slap you in the face with metallic growls. Their sound is sometimes raw, sometimes pretty, but always more industrial than most house music. The big, bouncing kicks and thick basslines make your chest rattle. Their talent was noticed and they were asked to produce remixes for the likes of uK No.1 ‘La La La’ by Naughty Boy, the summer smash ‘Right Here’ by Rudimental and Klangkarussel’s ‘Sonnentanz’, to name but a few.
