Publications pertaining to agriculture are in a variety of articles, pamphlets, reports, bulletins, periodicals and journals. Discussions on farming in the United States as well as other countries are among the publications. f1r. Warshaw collected seventy-seven articles from a publication titled Ihs~Sto:r;y_g_f_,_J::£r,_mJng which examines issues such as 11 Inspection of Cattle on an Egyptian Farm'1

, 11 Early Farmers in Europe", 11 A l•iedieval Farmyard,!!

In a New England Farming District," "Farming in the rrench Aids", 11 Plowing in Portugual", and "f>lachinery on a Russian Farm." Unfortnately there are no dates on any of the articles.

Agricultural journals and periodicals that were published in different sizes during their existence are among these materia1s and can also be found in another section of the Warshaw Collection. The ArrL~X5-_G:E-Jl_ltg_ricuJ.tux_i_§__t_,

Ki.~$_G_ons~1LL~grtr.uit_urJs____t A11d~_f§1Inf:r, and J'he__CultivAt_QJ:~nd ___ Coun~r_y !2S:JlLL~mgn are also stored in flat oversize boxes due to their size.

f<lanufacturers and distributors of farming implements are in boxes one through fifteen and are arranged in alphahetical order by name of company. Patents, general images, import/export documents and legal documents are also in box fifteen. Box sixteen through t;1enty-one contains related puhlications and are organized by type and then alphabetically by name of publication.

A brand name listing has been created for research purposes. It is not a definitive list. The purpose of this list is to allow researchers to find the manufacturer of a particular product without knmdng the company's name. By using this list one can find the comapny name and then use the container list to find the location of the materials. Only the products that are represented in this collection have been added to the list.
