With half a million people living in a
5-mile radius of our new store, and
another million people working within
those same margins, we are positioned
squarely in the middle of a high-
traffic, high-spend area. The attached
demographics show that people
residing within 5 miles of the new store
spent $760 million on clothes alone
last year. When you factor in the other
million people who work in that same
area, you could comfortably double
that figure. And when you consider
that the only distribution in this area is
inside the Galleria, it is apparent that
merchandising opportunities are being
missed as many Houstonians prefer not
to shop at the Galleria.
The area is bustling with qualified, potential shoppers.

Starting with our new store, Uptown
Park is spending close to $1 billion on
remodeling efforts in an effort to make
Houston’s favorite lifestyle center even
more fabulous. Taking design and style
inspiration from the most fashionable
beach destination in Miami, Bal Harbour
Village, Uptown Park has its sights set
on a new and modernized appearance.
Uptown Park is about to look better than ever.

Just across the street from us is the
Granduca Hotel, which was recently
featured at number 7 in the Conde Nast
Readers’ Choice Awards for “Top 15
Hotels in Texas.” The elite of the elite
stay at this 5-star boutique hotel and
shop Uptown Park daily.

We are taking over a location whose
previous tenant of 15 years was also a
jewelry retailer. Despite not having the
lineup of designer jewelry to attract a
majority of the area’s customer base,
the store still reached $8 million in sales
per year. We feel that figure would only
be the beginning for this store.
We have an opportunity to out-perform history.

David Yurman would have the option
of two prominent locations in-store.
Both are optimal, but we would like
David Yurman to choose their
preferred position.

Construction and buildout on the
new store is underway. Our goal is to
officially open our doors this September.

The previous jewelry retailer did very
well in this location with second tier
branded gold jewelry lines. We think an
inventory with an emphasis on David
Yurman gold collections would be a best
seller and customer fav.

David Yurman will be in good company
with many of the other world-renowned
designers and watch brands that call
Lewis Jewelers home, including Kwiat,
Tudor, A. Lange & Sohn, and John Hardy.
Agreeing to join that mix in 2015 is Rolex,
who just opened a Galleria boutique
and wished to wait a few months before
expanding their presence in the area.

David Yurman would do extremely well
with the customers that already love
