On the 27th June, Oak class (not including the yr6's that went to HCC) voted for the top 3
favourite songs and this is what we got:
In third place was: Schools Out For Summer by Alice Cooper
In second place was tied and was: Light It Up by Major Lazer and Lush Life by Zara Lasson
And in first place was: Titanium by David Gueetta.
Miss Phillip’s favourite song is Black Horse and the Cherry Tree by KT Tunstall, Mr Dunning's
favourite song is Stylo and Mr Thomas's favourite is Song 2 by Blur.

And finally… Prank!
If you love to trick your teachers then learn some new tricks here. Here are the most diabolical tricks... “There's toilet paper on your shoe…” Get an electric pen and ask them to see if it works. Offer them some sweets that are actually toxic waste sweets! Put a spider on their shoulder! “Your shoes are untied.” Now for a quick mind boggler: You know the goose, fox and beans riddle?

An amazing day for Raleigh as they have finally won sports day. Drake scored
1005 points and Raleigh had a whopping score of 1041. Everyone in Raleigh was
bouncing off the walls! Some of the races include the beanbag race, the sack race,
the long distance races, sprints and the skipping race. Scarlett quotes: "I thought
that all the races were really enjoyable." Also in the morning the school did little
sport activities on the field. Everyone enjoyed the activities and had fun.

Quad kids was organised by the Honiton Learning Community and
everyone who went found it really fun and some of the children
quoted:
Becky says: “The category that I most enjoyed was the sprinting.”
Scarlett says: “Long distance and long jump were great and I also
enjoyed all the other events.”
Megan says: “Bring on the games!”
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the
games. All years in ks2 have taken
part in this event.
At quad kids there were a variety
of sports including long jump, long distance running, sprinting and
vortex throw.
Also on the line of sports, Offwell did really well in kwik cricket
and was close second.
Fashion to follow
If you want to stay on top of the fashions this summer then read on.
This summer kimonos, pom-poms and over-sized (long lined) cardigans and other
over-sized items of clothing are going to be in.

Skater skirts are a nice summer chill-out look for every day. They keep you cool
and they come in so many different colours and sizes for not much money. Also

be styled in so many different ways.
