    • Have you collected unemployment during the recent years and are unlikely to return to the industry you were laid off from?

    NEW!!!! Temporary General Laborer Positions: The Del Norte Workforce Center is looking for Temporary Laborers to place throughout Del Norte County through an emergency relief grant. Laborers will be responsible for completing a wide variety of storm/flood related project work on public lands including, but not limited to: repairing and maintaining irrigation systems and plumbing, the removal of dead/downed trees, using tools to repair or restore conditions related to storm damage. Serves as a working crew member engaged in a wide range of storm related projects on public lands, including fuel reduction by mowing, weed eating, and thinning.     NEW!! Caregiver/Driver: G.H. Outreach of Del Norte is currently accepting applications for it’s caregiving/driver position. Position entails: Driving a company vehicle, transporting developmentally disable clients to work sites, and working one on one with clients. Must have a clean driving record, knowledge of backing up a large trailer, experience working with developmental clients preferred but not required.
