08:00 – 15:30 Faculty demonstration of TEES dissection then delegates hands-on dissection (bilateral)
Cadaveric dissection • Trim hairs• Meatal incision placement• Meatal skin flap• Elevation of squamous layer of TM• Interposition graft• Elevation of fibrous layer• Inspect middle ear & Anatomical review• Underlay graft• Harvest tragal grafts• Removal of incus• Cartilage myringostapediopexy• Remove stapes superstructure (laser or drill)• TORP• Atticotomy (curettage)• Remove malleus head• Inspect attic and anatomical review• Scutum reconstruction• Atticoantrostomy & canalplasty (curettage then drill)
Dry lab• Bone anchored hearing aid• Cochlear implant insertion techniques
