Industry Overview

Approximately 18 million vehicles on Canadian roads

Retail size of aftermarket estimated at over $15.6 billion in 2002 (which includes maintenance and repair, and gasoline stations): $9.3 billion in parts and $6.3 billion in services. This is an increase of 5.6 percent over 2001 (DesRosiers Automotive Consultants Inc. 2003 )
