MOCK MEET SCHEDULED FOR MAY 23rd
We will be holding a mock meet for ALL swimmers on May 23rd at 5:30PM at the pool. Warm-ups will begin at 5:45PM. ALL swimmers are encouraged to attend and especially new swimmers to the program who have not experienced a meet. This will be great preparation for our 1st meet on June 2nd. Parents are also encouraged to attend and learn more about volunteer positions like timing, stroke and turn and more!
ATTENTION PARENTS OF SWIMMERS 10 & UNDER
ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS: WEST SPRINGFIELD PARKS & RECREATION NOW REQUIRES THAT ALL SWIMMERS 10 & UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THIER
PARENT/GUARDIAN AT ALL SWIM PRACTICES & MEETS FROM START TO END. Your child will be unable to participate in swim practice if a parent/guardian is not in attendance or if that parent/guardian leaves the pool or lobby area. In the event of an emergency that causes you to have to leave the practice we ask that you please notify the Board Member(s) sitting at the check-in table and we can assist in getting your child out of practice ASAP. The safety of our swimmers is very important to us and if you have any questions or concerns in regards to this matter please talk to a Board Member at practice and not the coaches.
NO PARKING IN THE CIRCLE FOR PRACTICES OR MEETS
Please note going forward there will be NO PARKING in the CIRCLE (FIRE LANE) during swim
practices or meets! We have been told that moving forward this is a hazard and prevents First Responders from responding to emergencies at the school. This will also be communicated for other school functions happening during practice and meet times. This includes the circle near the pool and along entrance to school. Violators can and will be ticketed and towed.
TEAM FUNDRAISER – UNO’S IN HOLYOKE For the June 6th Torpedoes Dough Rai$er, come into UNO's and enjoy delicious meals, including Uno's Legendary Deep Dish Pizza, mouthwatering steaks, crisp salads, juicy burgers and other tempting entrees.
