Roland Deschain spent the majority of his life searching for the Dark Tower, but when he finally reached its base, he was surprised to discover a myriad of animals in line for some event, teeming with excitement: some of the most notable animals in the realm would be racing around the base of the Dark Tower itself. Roland’s status as a gunslinger was quickly ascertained, and the animals enlisted him to fire his gun into the air to start each race.

The smug tortoise invited the hares to a rematch, but they all refused, and so other animals took up the challenge. In fact, all the animals racing went around and around the tower, never seeming to outpace one another.(This puzzle requires location-specific information.)
