Printer Warranty Policy

When you buy a Toshiba printer you receive 3 months FOC on site warranty and 1yr

RTB warranty from the date of purchase.

Past that point and if you do not have a maintenance contract you can still call out a

Toshiba Engineer.

AD Hoc Call outs

Even if your printer(s) are not under a Toshiba Maintenance Contract, you can still

make use of our Toshiba Field Service Engineers to fix your printers although the

cost is somewhat higher and you would be assigned as a low priority in the

scheduling of engineers that day.

Toshiba Printer On-Site Maintenance

Response Times Available

Standard: 8-hour response/8-hour fix

Enhanced: 4-hour response/4-hour fix

Custom: Custom service levels can be considered depending on the volume of

printers involved and the terms of the customer.

New Printer Maintenance Contracts

1yr, 3yr and 5yr Contracts are available with the purchase of your printer(s) at a

discounted rate

Existing Printers without Contracts

Existing Toshiba printers not currently with a maintenance contract can be placed

under cover following a pre-contract insepction.

Ribbons

Low cost, low quality ribbons will damage the print head of your printer and reduce

the quality of your printed labels.

Toshiba has a range of premium ribbons which have been rigorously tested and

approved for use with our Toshiba printers. These ribbons will increase the life of

your print heads and improve the quality of your printed labels.

Toshiba ribbons must be used with Toshiba Printers if you do not wish to invalidate

the Toshiba Print Head Warranty.

Direct Food Contact

Toshiba Ribbons have been approved for food contact applications by EU Directive

1935/2004/EC and/or BGA standard and/or FDA 175.105

Range

Toshiba has a wide range of ribbon grades including wax, resin enhanced, wax resin

and resin and a colour range. Our ribbons come in various widths and lengths up to

800m long.
