Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative, Inc., (JMEC) is acceptingapplications for the position of Systems Administrator.

We are seeking a qualified professional to provide desktop support, networkinfrastructure maintenance and support; digital video surveillance equipmenttechnical support and maintenance, Avaya VoIP Telecom Support, and Server

Integration for all three JMEC District Offices.

Required Education, Degrees, Certificates, and/or Licenses:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or a related field of study with a minimum of sixyears’ experience. Must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid New Mexicodriver’s license. Must be eligible to be and remain insured as a driver by the Cooperative’s groupliability policy for the automotive fleet. See below for other required licensure and experience.

Position Summary:The Systems Administrator works under the direction of the IT Managerto plan for all aspects of JMEC’s information technology infrastructure and services includingcommunications and networks; database management; data interfaces between applications;information system security, management of production servers, hardware and software; desktopsupport; planning, budgeting, and management of key technology initiatives. Under direction ofthe IT Manager, oversee the design, development, implementation and maintenance of databasesto include working closely to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effectivetechnology solutions for the organization to ensure JMEC remains cost effective, efficient, andmaximizes its information services assets for increased value to its members/customers.

Job Requirements and Experience:• Six (6) years’ experience and proficiency in supporting users on Windows 7/8-10 Pro and Appleoperating systems, MS Office 365, 2003/2007/2010/2016, Adobe, Terminal Services, as well asremote tools for troubleshooting. LANS/WANS; Windows Server Environments; Microsoft SQLServer; Microsoft suite applications; Microsoft Exchange; internet information services; backupsystems, peripherals; print servers; firewalls, spam & antivirus hardware//software; and computerhardware (replacing hard drives, hardware drives, etc.). Network Administration and securityexperience strongly desired. Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.

• A minimum of six (6) years’ work experience on various server platform environments, as well asa minimum of six (6) years network infrastructure and desktop technical support experience.

• Experience working with SCADA and smart metering solutions/systems providing technicalsupport on special project integration within the Electric Utility Industry highly desired.

• Required Technical experience on the following platforms:Windows Server 2008,2012,2016, Unix, Linux, Data Center, Sequel Server, Application Server,Milsoft GIS, Milsoft OMS, Avaya 1X Portal, IVR integration, Utility power net, Hyper-V servervirtualization, Icronis backup/recovery, Paper Vision, Document Automation, MS ActiveDirectory (e.g. Domain or OU management, Group Policies). Technical support on Data BaseApplications/Windows integration for the following: Sequel, Oracle, Access, GIS.

• Required Technical experience on the following network infrastructure:WiFi, LAN/WAN technical support including managed/unmanaged switch/router configurations(Extreme, Netgear, Belkin). VPN, SonicWall, FatPipe, CAT5, CAT6, and Fiber Optic cablingsystems, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware software maintenance and support.

• Desired Technical Support within the Electric Industry:Scada and smart meteringgg solutions/syyystems

• Desired experience with Digital Video Surveillance Equipment technical support,maintenance and new installations:Panasonic digital video surveillance equipment; maintenance/support and troubleshooting ofexisting digital video surveillance equipment; new installs of Panasonic DVR and IP cameraequipment; Panasonic I-Pro; data networking including prioritization of network protocols;knowledge and familiarity of USDA Rural Utility Service (RUS) Security Guidelines

• Desired experience with Avaya VoIP Telecom Support and Server Integration:Six (6) years working experience on Avaya VoIP technical support and server maintenance, andfamiliarity with the following:
