Innovision CockpitThe Innovision Cockpit consists of the Discover Premium infotainment system with a 15-inch screen and 12.3-inch Digital Cockpit. Together, they provide an ergonomically optimised display that puts everything you need within reach. The Innovision Cockpit is further enhanced with the Head-up Display with windscreen projection.

Head-up Display with windscreen projectionCheck the speed, warnings and navigation information without having to take your eyes off the road. Everything is possible in the Touareg thanks to its Head-up Display, which sees information being projected directly onto the windscreen.

Interior ambient lightingWhite ambient lighting in the front footwell, door sill protectors, and light strips below the trim in the doors and dashboard gives the Touareg the perfect atmosphere for every drive. Need a little colour? A multi-coloured light with a choice of 30 different shades, from earthy greens to vibrant reds, will set the right tone for every journey.

IQ.Light LED matrix headlights*‘IQ.Light’ LED matrix headlights with intelligent light modes and Dynamic Light Assist provide greater illumination without dazzling other road users, whilst blending seamlessly into the chromed solid grille to give an unmistakable presence.

All-wheel steering*Two steered wheels are good but four can be better in many situations. This is why Volkswagen has equipped the Touareg with all-wheel steering: this technology reduces the turning circle, improves driving dynamics and increases road safety.

4-corner air suspension*The Touareg R-Line comes with 4-corner air suspension to ensure ultimate driving comfort on every trip, adapting the height of the car to the terrain, with a choice of Normal, Comfort, Off-road and Special Off-road driving profiles. The Touareg can also be raised to provide 70mm more ground clearance or lowered by 40mm to make loading and unloading easier.

4MOTION all-wheel drive systemDriving pleasure with reassuring stability – the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system provides optimum traction and keeps the Touareg firmly on track no matter the driving conditions.

Front assist with City Emergency BrakeFront assist uses a radar sensor to monitor the distance to vehicles ahead at speeds up to 65km/h. The system helps the driver in critical situations by applying the City Emergency Brake function to brake the car completely to a halt to prevent accidents.

Side Assist with Rear Traffic AlertThe Side Assist system warns the driver of vehicles in the blind spot when changing lanes. In conjunction with Rear Traffic Alert, it aids the driver when reversing out of parking spaces.

Traffic Jam Assist*Traffic Jam Assist enables the Touareg to drive semi-automatically in traffic jams or during stop-and-go traffic by responding to moving obstacles and taking over the steering, acceleration and braking functions.
