Nursing students from University of Montana’s Helena College of Nursing will be here to conduct a variety of physical tests to measure individual fitness levels. The Senior Fitness Test is a simple, economical method of assessing the physical attributes that older adults need in order to perform daily activities. It consists of seven tests—covering lower- and upper-body strength, aerobic endurance, lower- and upper-body flexibility, agility, and balance. Forum.

Touchmark is currently hosting a Forward Motion Fitness class, which the local paper featured. The six-week class is designed for people experiencing motor challenges due to Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other movement disorders.
