Cape Borda Lightstation is stunningly located upon the cliffs overlooking Investigator Strait. To discover the maritime history of the area you can take a 45 minute guided tour of the lighthouse. Don’t miss the daily cannon firing* on the 12.30 pm tour! A self-guided walk and entry to museum is available between tours at a cost of $3.00 per person.

Seal Bay is the only place in the world where you can see the Australian sea-lion up close. Seal Bay is about 45 minutes from the Island’s main town of Kingscote.

A self-guided boardwalk experience and lookout walk is open from 9 am to 4.15 pm (summer holidays 5.15 pm).

Beach guided tours* of 45 minutes are available. An exclusive twilight tour for an hour and 45 minutes is available in summer holidays. Contact Seal Bay for further information and to book. Free foreign language audio is available on guided tours.*Guided tours are subject to a minimum number of participants. Extreme weather conditions may affect tour access and duration. For a less crowded experience, visit before 11 am or after 1 pm.

The stunning Kelly Hill Caves are a magical underground world filled with amazing limestone formations. A 40 minute guided tour takes you on a walk amidst ornate cave formations and lets you discover how the caves and their spectacular decorations are formed. Those with a more adventurous spirit can crawl through an underground maze of smaller caverns on a two hour guided Adventure Cave Tour*. Contact Kelly Hill Caves for further information and to book. *Participants must be 8 years or older. Minimum charge and conditions apply. Bookings essential.

Rich in maritime history, Cape Willoughby is South Australia’s first lightstation. Although the lightstation operated to prevent shipwrecks, a number of ships sank off the coastline. Join a 45 minute guided tour* and enjoy spectacular views over Backstairs Passage. A self-guided walk and entry to museum is available between tours at a cost of $3.00 per person.

*Access to the lighthouse balcony may be restricted during extreme weather conditions. Access involves climbing stairs. Children under four are NOT permitted to use the stairs unless they are in an approved baby harness or backpack.

Please check with site staff for the level of mobility or fitness required to undertake any tour, activity or site visit.

Flinders Chase is a vast wilderness that features iconic landmarks, including the world famous Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. The colony of long-nosed fur seals at Cape du Couedic are a must see.

A network of walking trails and boardwalks allow you to enjoy the park and its diverse wildlife.

Visitor Centre is open 9 am–5 pm daily.

Self-registration is available outside opening hours. Day visitors are requested to leave the park by sunset.

• All parks are closed and tours cancelled on days of catastrophic (code red) fire danger.
