The structure is built reusing old timber, window and door frames and other items from traditional and old demolished houses. Lunch followed by city tour that includes: Memorial Chorten is the stupa built in the memory of Bhutan's third King, His Late Majesty, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, who is popularly regarded as the Father of modern Bhutan. The paintings and statues inside the monument provide a deep insight into Buddhist philosophy.

Located at a short drive from Thimphu city Centre, visitors can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). You can pay your respects and/or offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. The Takin Preserve is the national animal of Bhutan, and looks like a cross between a cow and a goat. Legend has it that the animal was created by the great Buddhist yogi, Drupa Kunley, and it can be found only in Bhutan and nearby areas Overnight :Thimphu

Day 02: : Thimphu – Punakha(3 hrs drive, 76km,1200m above sea)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Punakha across Dochula Pass (3,150 m). In Bhutan, the passes are marked by large Bhutanese chortens (stupas) and prayer flags. Dochula Pass offers the most spectacular view over the high peaks of the eastern Himalayas on a clear day.

Picnic lunch by the riverside of the Mochu River. Afternoon visit to Punakha Dzong or (Palace of Great Happiness), built at the junction of the Phochu and Mochu rivers in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. This majestic dzong served as both the religious and the administrative center of Bhutan in the past. It measures some 600 by 240 feet and has a six-story, gold-domed tower. Inside are courtyards and religious statues that hint the depth of history and spiritual tradition embodied here. Your guide will illuminate your understanding of this intricate culture that is exotic to travellers, though long established here.

Visit Chimi lhakhang temple or also call as fertility temple founded by Drukpa Kinley(Devine mad man) in 15th century . barran couple can seek blessing for child. Overnight: Punakha.

Day 03: Punakha – Gangtey(3-4hrs drive,83km,2700m) After breakfast drive to Gangtey. Lunch will serve on the way. Evening will do Gangtey Nature Trail. This pleasurable walk will give you a nice feeling for Phobjikha valley. From the small hilltop overlooking Gangtey Gompa. You head downhill through flower meadows to semchubara village,passing by beautiful forest and into the open valley. The trail ends with the walk 1 hour.

Visit the Gangtey Goenpa Monastery perched on the hilltop since the 17

th century. The

After breakfast drive to paro and on the way visit hand made Iron Bridge by great Buddist master Thangthong Gyalpo in 15

th century.

Visit Bhutan National Mesuem (previously called Ta dzong which means watch tower) built in 1649 and completed in 1651 according to khempo phuntsho Tashi and later in 1960s it was converted to national mesuem of Bhutan. Visit paro Dzong built in 17

th century by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Currently is a place

where we practice government office and monastic school and walk down the beautiful trail towards the suspension bridge as you explore to see amazing paro valley. Over night: Paro

Day 06: Tiger Nest (5hrs hike, 6km,2900m) After breakfast, excursion to Taktshang Monastery (5hrs hike). It is one of the most famous of Bhutan’s monasteries, perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called ‘Tiger’s Nest’. This site has been recognised as a most sacred place and visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. On 19 April 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of building but now this Bhutanese jewel has been restored to its original splendor
