orchards, alpine forests and many more, the

a boon to the worldwide nature lovers.

Srinagar is aptly named the "City of Lakes".

With a mixed Hindu, Mughal and Sikh past, the city is an amalgamation of various cultural influences.

Srinagar is one of the major tourist spots of Kashmir owing to its pleasant weather and many tourist attractions, which include the iconic Dal Lake, the Mughal Gardens and the Hazratbal Shrine.

The city of Jammu has come to be known as the ‘City Of Temples’.

Innumerable temples and shrines, with glittering ‘shikhars’ soaring into the sky, dot the city’s skyline, creating the ambience of a holy and peaceful city.

The Rig Veda describes lords existence in the hymns.

It was confirmed from the findings of the Mohenjo-

On the opposite bank of the Tawi river, is situated the majestic Bahu Fort, the oldest edifice extant in the region.

Looking at this fort one can imagine the wars fought, invasions prevented, and yes, even the grandeur the royal family must have enjoyed at the time.

There is plenty of choice in J&K if one is really digging to see the beauty of the Himalayan ranges.

The major places to check out in the Kashmir region are Srinagar , Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg.
