Towel warmersTHE MOST COMFORTABLE WARMTH

Quality and performanceDL Radiators towel warmers are the ideal solution for the most comfortable warmth in bathrooms. The geometrical arrangement of the elements has been designed to produce the best possible heat output according to the dimensions of each radiator to offer a wide choice of models from a vast range. Production of each radiator starts with design and initial testing prior to production employing a number of different welding technologies and a painting process able to give each radiator the right surface finish. After welding and fabrication of the metal structure, all towel warmers are tested at high pressures (tube towel warmers at 13 bars and flat tube towel warmers at 6 bars) to verify the perfect tightness of the structure and non-deformability of the towel warmer.

Towel warmer range The DL Radiators range of towel warmers includes straight and curved radiators with round or flat tubes for products to satisfy the most diverse tastes. The appearance of the towel warmers can be modified according to the end user’s wishes as the range includes both chromed and coloured versions. An electrification kit is available for each towel warmer, allowing the radiator to also be powered electrically for use either connected to the home’s heating installation or to the mains electricity supply to produce the warmth required to heat the bathroom quickly and independently. The range includes a number of models with central connection. Each radiator is supplied with an air vent and set of mounting brackets.

Guaranteed for 5 yearsThe production process used to make DL Radiators towel warmers has been developed over decades, achieving such a high level of quality and precision during the various welding and assembly phases that DL Radiators guarantees its radiators for 5 years.

PaintingThe top quality painted finish of DL Radiators is created using an industrial process from the automotive sector, giving each element a glossy long-lasting colour. The radiators are painted using a three-phase system:

— Hot degreasing and a new chemical treatment — Epoxy powder coating and baking at 220°C to give the radiator a bright glossy finish

— The colour is the characteristic DL Radiators white

Chrome platingThe plating of chrome finish radiators is closely monitored by Quality Control. The controls begin during the pre-production phase with analysis of the surfaces (particularly important when chrome plating flat tube radiators), then continue during immersion in the chrome bath, monitoring of values during electroplating and final checking to analyse the brightness of the chrome finish in accordance with DIN 55900.

Use Instructions for Electrical Mixed Kit for Electrical Towel Warmers

The T piece has a 1/2” connection and must be connected to the valve (outflow point) of the radiator, while the lockshield must be connected to the opposite point of the radiator, as in the figure. The radiator is thus always connected to the building’s heating installation and can be heated either with hot water from the installation or the electrical heating element in the kit.With the electrification kit, the installation must respect the following points:

Respect the following minimum distances when installing electric design radiators: — 60 cm from the floor to the thermostat (recommended) — 5 cm between the radiator and the side wall — from 5 to 7 cm between the back of the radiator and the wall

The radiator must never in any circumstances be installed — inside zone 1 — inside zone 2 if the control panel is accessible to someone having a shower or bath.

It must also be installed so that:

— it is not immediately under a power socket — the tubes or cables cannot be damaged.

The radiator must not be installed with the thermostat facing upwards.

It must under no circumstances be connected to the earth connection. With perpendicular connections, the following are required for one-pipe in-stallation:

— one-pipe valve (a) with adjustable by-pass — the probe (b) must be inserted in the vertical collector and must have a length equivalent to 2/3 the height (H) of the radiator in order to release the output water at a sufficient height.

The used one-ipe valve can be straight or curved (angle), so the radiator can be connected both from the ground or from the wall (or from the side).

With side connections, the following are required for one-pipe installation: — one-pipe valve (a) with adjustable bypass — the probe (b) must be inserted in the side connection through the emitting pipe and must have a length (c) slightly less* than the length (L) of the radiator, in order to release the output water in the opposite collector.

The used one-ipe valve can be straight or curved (angle), so the radiator can be connected both from the ground or from the wall (or from the side).

Quality and performanceDL Radiators towel warmers stand out for the meticulous development of the steel structure and in-depth design and control of the electrical components.

The heating elements and thermostats are tested in limit conditions to verify the quality of the electrical components, the actual IP class and the electrical insulation, fundamental for the safety of radiators for installation in wet environments such as bathrooms.

Electric towel warmers rangeThe DL Radiators range of electric towel warmers consists of towel warmers with painted and chromed round and flat tubes and are often parallel to the hot water versions. Many radiators are available in a number of versions with different thermostats. The electronic controls used to operate the heating elements range from simple functional Class 1 ON/OFF switches to more sophisticated Class 2 electronic thermostats with LCD display, remote control and various functions.

WarrantyThe production process used to make DL Radiators electric radiators has been developed over decades, achieving such a high level of quality and precision during the various welding and assembly phases that DL Radiators guarantees its radiators for 5 years. The electric components have 2 years warranty.

PaintingThe top quality painted finish of DL Radiators radiators is created using an industrial process from the automotive sector, giving each towel warmer a glossy long-lasting colour. The radiators are painted using a three-phase system:


— The colour is the characteristic DL Radiators white, in accordance with DIN 55900.

Chrome platingThe chrome plating of chrome finish radiators is closely monitored by Quality Control. The controls begin during the pre-production phase with analysis of the surfaces (particularly important when chrome plating flat tube radiators), then continue during immersion in the chrome bath, monitoring of values during electroplating and final checking to analyse the brightness of the chrome finish.

Functions

Electronic thermostat with digital temperature regulation The towel warmer has five functions:

— Comfort mode: the chosen temperature is regulated by the remote control

— Night mode: the electric towel warmer is regulated at 2°C below comfort temperature

— Pilot wire mode: the electric towel warmer can be adjusted remotely through a central electric radiator regulation system (mode available only in homes fitted with such a system)

— Timer mode: using the remote control, the on and off times of the towel warmer can be programmed hour by hour for the seven days of the week

— Two hour override function: when this function is activated, the radiator operates at maximum power for two hours to heat the room rapidly.

— Freeze prevention function: when the dial is on minimum, the towel warmer comes on automatically when room temperature drops below 7°C.

Quality and performanceDL Radiators aluminium electric radiators are the most suitable appliances for heating the home in electric heating systems or when you want to heat a room independently from the central hot water installation. The aluminium structure exploits the metal’s ability to absorb and release heat rapidly, warming the room faster than with a steel radiator. Aluminium radiators are lighter than the steel equivalent, facilitating wall mounting. Aluminium electric rangeThe DL Radiators range of aluminium electric radiators includes steatite radiators that give out heat for a long time even after the radiator has been turned off. Quality and performanceDL Radiators fan radiators are the best way to create the most pleasant climate possible in the bathroom. The double function enables the room to be heated rapidly by the jet of hot air coming from the fan heater during the first few minutes of operation, until the towel warmer reaches a suitable working temperature to give off the right warmth. The fan heaters are tested in limit conditions to verify the performance of the fan and hot air flows produced, together with the quality of the electrical components, the actual IP class and the electrical insulation, fundamental for the safety of radiators for installation in wet environments such as bathrooms.

Radiators with fan heater’s product rangeThe combined radiators are available for use either with electricity (towel warmer) with fan (fan heater) or as a radiator connected to the domestic hot water system. They are ideal for heating all rooms quickly, combining rapid emission of heat by the electric heating element with the more intense prolonged warmth of the radiator. The fan heaters are Class 2, IP 24 and can be operated independently from the electric towel warmer with three operating modes. As well as the three electric modes, the mixed fan radiators can also be connected to the central heating system for use as traditional hot water radiators. In-depth study of thermodynamic flows has made it possible to create fan heaters able to emit the right flow of hot air to heat all bathrooms quickly and comfortably. A remote control is included with each fan radiator to adjust power and settings.

5 Year guaranteeThe production process used to make DL Radiators electric bathroom radiators has been developed over decades, achieving such a high level of quality and precision during the various welding and assembly phases that DL Radiators guarantees its radiators for 5 years. The electric components have 2 years warranty.

PaintingThe top quality painted finish of DL Radiators radiators is created using an industrial process from the automotive sector, giving each element a glossy long-lasting colour. The bathroom radiators are painted using a three-phase system:

— Hot degreasing and a new chemical treatment — Epoxy powder coating and baking at 220 °C to give the radiator a bright glossy finish

The colour is the characteristic DL Radiators white, in accordance with DIN 55900.

The Multicolonna line of products is packed with polystyrene corner elements and waterproof heat shrink tape (for storage in damp conditions); further protection is provided by elements protecting the tubes and pouches protecting the connections (with holes to allow the radiator to be connected on site without removing the packaging).

The accessories inlcuded in the packaging , if so, (brackets, screws, ecc) are packed in plastic bag.

STEEL PANEL PACKAGING

DL Radiators Plattella panels are packed with cardboard strips reinforced at the top and bottom and further reinforced by plastic corner elements to avoid damage to the corners.The complete packaging is covered with heat shrink tape for storage in damp conditions.

The images illustrate vertical and horizontal stacking on pallets (the stacking shown and pallets used in these photographs are not standard DL Radiators, nor exclusive, but merely illustrative. Palletising is part of commercial agreements).

Linear steel panels are packed with though cardboard strips at the top and bottom. On the front they arepacked with cardboard and plasticfoam. Then they are finisched with heat shrink tape to protect from damp.

The accessories inlcuded in the packaging, if so, (brackets, screws, ecc.) are packed in plastic bag.

Warranty

GENERAL CONDITIONSThe warranty conditions set forth in this section shall be valid for all products comprising the DL Radiators Srl range (otherwise denominated DLR). Any derogation from these conditions shall require DL Radiators’ prior written consent.

WARRANTYThe supplier guarantees, starting from the invoice date, for a period of X years (the number of years guaranteed depends on the product category. Each Warranty period is shown at the begeinning of each product category):

— The good quality of the materials supplied — The good workmanship of invoiced and supplied materials.

The supplier undertakes, within the warranty period, to repair or replace, at its own discretion, and on a gratuitous basis, those parts that, with respect to the specifications, exhibit material defects, construction faults or deformities, such as to render the component unsuitable for use. The supplier shall not accept other replacement costs.The warranty shall take effect after the examination of the defects and their causes, by DLR and at the premises it shall indicated. New or repaired material shall be supplied EXW supplier’s warehouse.Any work forming part of the warranty shall not extend or renew the original warranty term.

WARRANTY INVALIDITY— if the buyer does not comply with the agreed payment conditions;— if a claim against warranty is not lodged within the terms indicated and in accordance to law;— if the product is installed by unqualified persons and/or in a manner contrary to the supplier’s instructions;— if the use and/or maintenance of the system has not been carried out according to the suppliers’ instructions.— if the product has been tampered with by adjustments or repairs conducted without the supplier’s prior written authorisation;— if the products incurs accidental damage or damage caused by natural calamities;— if the products incurs damages caused by shipping not organized by DL Radiators;— if the presence of air and/or the lack of liquid in the circuit is detected;

RESERVATIONSDLR reserves the rights to make modification to products, technical data and sizes at any time and without prior notice.DLR shall remain proprietor of the product until such time as Customer makes full payment.

The Customer implicitly accepts the following payment conditions when he receives the confirmation of the order by DL Radiators Srl.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS — Unless contrary expressed agreement, delivery terms shall always be understood as approximate; — Goods are transported at the Customer’s own risk, even if sold carriage paid; — Special packaging not otherwise provided for shall be invoiced separately; — Delays in delivery attributable to the carrier shall not be the liability of DLR; — Extraordinary events, natural calamities or other causes of force majeure shall release DL Radiators from any mandatory delivery terms.

TRANSPORT OF GOODS, PACKAGING AND CONSIGNMENT — Unless contrary expressed agreement, delivery terms shall always be understood as approximate; — Goods are transported at the Customer’s own risk, even if sold carriage paid; — Special packaging not otherwise provided for shall be invoiced separately; — Delays in delivery attributable to the carrier shall not be the liability of DLR; — Extraordinary events, natural calamities or other causes of force majeure shall release DL Radiators from any mandatory delivery terms.

CLAIMS AND RETURNED GOODS — Claims for visible defects must be made within 8 days from the receipt of goods; — For other defects the foregoing warranty conditions shall remain valid; — The prices are subject to revision according to variations that may come into effect prior to delivery; — No claims shall be accepted for goods altered or damaged by third parties or the Customer; — Goods must be returned at the Customer’s expense to DL Radiators Srl (or Moimacco UD or Fossalta di Piave VE - ITALY); — DL Radiators Srl disclaims any obligation to replace its radiators for defects attributable to insufficient surveillance or irregular maintenance; — The installer must take out insurance against any damage that water may determine.

TECHNICAL DATA — The surface areas, performance, weights and all other data referring to the radiators, as stated in pricelists and catalogues, shall be understood as indicative and comprehend working tolerances that are not subject to price adjustments;

— DL Radiators Srl reserves the right to replace its radiator models without prior notice.

COURT WITH JURISDICTIONFor any controversy the sole court with jurisdiction shall be the Court of Treviso (Italy), excluding any derogations.
