UPDATES FROM DEPARTMENTS …

Finance

o As of April 3, the Town has collected: $1,603,055 (99%) of the annual property tax billing ($1,616,317)

o April quarterly utility billing mailed on April 2 – total due $1,006,491 o Completed the Division of Motor Vehicles Direct Access Program account review

consisting of a survey, listing of users, and listing of any incidents within the last year (none)

o Provided Tax and Utility Information to settlement lawyers o Stamped deeds for property transfers

Public Works

o 2019 Consumer Confidence Report (Water) information has been provided DRWA for report preparation

o State of Delaware water sampling scheduled for April 7 o Daily work schedule is ensuring critical tasks (Water and Public Works) are being

completed

Police

o Weekly and Year to Date crime statistics (selected crimes) updated (copy attached) o Departmental Press Releases issued as warranted



Construction Coordinator

o Certificate of Occupancy Inspection None to report

Wastewater

and Green Alley Participated in teleconference call with Governor Carney (Gene Dvornick, Bill West) Answered questions from State Service Center regarding Town funding for homeless

assistance



Participated in teleconference call with Senator Coons – Overview of CARES Act (Gene Dvornick, Mike Picarello)

Met with Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long and Homeless Taskforce Members to discuss the homeless in Town – focus was temporary shelter and Coronavirus testing (Gene Dvornick, Chief Hughes, Bill West)

Continual updating of Town social media with Coronavirus information (all Staff) Followed up on several code enforcement issues
