    Themeetingwascalledtoorder.OldBusiness:MinutesoftheJuly19,2017,PlanningCommissionMeetingwerepresented.CommissionerCloughmovedtoaccepttheminutes.Themotionwasunanimouslyapprovedwithnofurtherdiscussion.AnnualReporttoMarylandDepartmentofPlanning(DeferredtoSeptember20,2017meeting)NewBusiness:BuildingPermitapplicationDavidKing.Mr.Kingclarifiedthattheproposeduseofthestructureisnotbestorageasstatedonhisapplication,ratherforgrowingmushroomsforresale.ThePlanningCommissionmustclarifywhetherthisspecificuseisagriculture,homeoccupation,orcommercialundertheZoningOrdinance.ThePlanningCommissiondefersapprovalofpermituntilclarificationonpermitteduse.ThePlanningCommissionersaskedwhethertheproposeddrivewaynotedontheapplicationwillbesufficient.Mr.Kingstatedhewillconnectthedrivewaytotheproposedstructurewiththecurrentdrivewayentrance;theproposeddrivewaywillbewithinhisproperty.PublicForum:Ms.Dembyaskedwhetherpropertiesonwhichshewantstobuildarezonedresidential.Thepropertiesarezonedresidential.Theywillbeholdingonbuildinguntilsewersystemcomesthrough.BrianDeMossexplainedthatoneofthepropertieswillbegrandfatheredintoreceivegrantfundingforhookuptothesewersystem,theotherpropertyisnotgrandfatheredinforgrantfunding.Announcements:ThenextPlanningCommissionMeetingwillbeWednesday,September20,2017,7:00p.m.atMarvinMemorialChurch,101ChurchLane,Barclay,MD21607.
