DESCRIPTION

Graphitic tuff, fine grained, finely laminated, dark grey to blackin color, pyrite and pyrrhotite mineralization, 5%, occurring alonglaminea and in fractures. Contact with underlying unit is gradational

Felsic tuff with some chloritized mafic laminea. Finely, laminated,brown-grey to green-grey. Brecciated section from 67' to 69' is mineralized with approximately 40*^ sulfide, pyrite and pyrrhotite.Sulfides also occur disseminated throughout the core and infractures. A massive, fine grained, green grey diorite intrudesfrom 91.0' to 93.3' and 96.0' to 97.0'. The contacts of the dioriteare sharp and strike parallel to the laminea.

Graphitic tuff, finely laminated, fine grained, dark grey to black,5% sulfides occur along fracture planes. Minor graphite occursalong fracture planes and shears. Several veinlets of whitefeldspar are present.

Felsic tuff finely laminated, fine grained, brown-grey to green-grey.Some chloritized mafic laminea are present. Sulfides occur finelydisseminated and in fractures. 51 sulfides. From 132.0' to 133.8'sulfides m.

Felsic tuff massive looking, very fine grained, pink-brown to greycolor. Mafic material absent. Less than 1* sulfides.

Mafic tuff, grey-brown to green, finely laminated, chloritized, coreblocky. Less than 2*fc sulfides.

Tuff, well laminated, dark green-grey to pink-white color. Many of the laminea contain up to 40'fc white feldspar porphyroblasts 2mmto 5mm in diameter. Also noted are several large (up tp 20mm long) intermediate to mafic fragments. Minor sulfides occur finelydisseminated, less than rfc

DESCRIPTION

Felsic tuff very finely laminated, fine grained, white to dark green.Not mineralized.

Felsic tuff laminated to massive, light green to grey- brown. 50.3'to 50.7' isi a small diorite intrusion, fine grained with sharp contacts 57.6' to 62.9' Diorite, massive, porphyritic, phenocrysts ofchloritized minerals up to 5mm in diameter. A 1.5" quartz vein inthis diorite, at 58.9', contains a few grains of pyrite. From 126.9'to 133.5' is a finely laminated grey tuff containing 40 ifc pyrite.

Mafic tuff, coarse grained with clasts up to 30mm in diameter. Darkgreen, chloritized and not mineralized. Clasts angular in shape andchloritized. Contacts with above and below units sharp.

Interbedded mafic and felsic tuff, finely laminated and fine grained.The mafic tuff is chloritized. Sulfide mineralization less than l*.

Tuff, laminated, fine grained, felsic, green- grey to brown- greycolor. Brecciated zones 16.0' to 19.0' and 21.9' to 24.0' contain70 to SO 5?; sulfides, pyrite and pyrrhotite. From 43.0' to 44.4' isan intrusive diorite, grey- green in color, fine grained, massive,with sharp chilled contacts running parallel to the bedding in thetuff. Phenocrysts of a mafic mineral up to 2mm in length arevisible in the diorite.

Quartz veins occur at:-58.0' - 3/8" thick, contains minor pyrite
