Bat tery forklift have replaced convent ional forklift ( i.e.,

internal-com bust ion engine type) as m easures for the

increasing dem and on clean environm ents in various

sites where forklift take an act ive role, such as factor ies,

dist r ibut ion centers, warehouses, ports and harbors,

airports, etc. The bat ter ies as a dr iving source of bat tery

forklift are an outcom e of integrat ing a num ber of

superior technologies based on long- t im e pract ises and

affluent experiences, and st ill advancing by inherit ing

these.

Now, we have newly adopted negat ive plate addit ives to

enhance discharge propert ies at low tem peratures,

thereby our convent ional t ract ion bat ter ies being reborn

as SUPER < LI FT TOP> ECO.

The Nabari Works has designed, developed, and

m anufactured bat ter ies including those for t ract ion

bat ter ies under the quality m anagem ent system based

on the cert ified standard of I SO 9001 acquired in June

1995.

The Works also acquired the cert ificate of I SO 14001

(Environm ental Managem ent Standard) in October 1997

to perform m anufactur ing act ivit ies by posit ioning the

harm ony with the environm ent to be an essent ial them e.

Discharge character ist ic at lowtem peratures have been enhanced.

Features

The react ing area has increased by about 20% incom parison with our convent ional types, thanks to thenew negat ive elect rode addit ives.The discharge capacity at low tem perature hasincreased about 10% com pared with our previous m odel.

The act ive m aterial density of the posit ive plate has beenopt im ized.The specificat ion of well-balanced bat tery capacity andlife perform ance has been realized.

Low tem perature character ist ic have been enhanced,and thereby convent ional bat ter ies are reborn as SUPER< LI FT TOP> ECO to accom m odate the needs that arem ore versat ile.

The glass tube used for the posit ive plate is m ade of special glassfibers having super ior m echanical, elect rical, and chemicalpropert ies, thereby contribut ing to the realizat ion of long t ime.

The Spine com prising the conductor port ion is fabricated byapplying the pressure cast ing m ethod, which we have pract iced fora long t im e. This m ethod enables the crystal architecture denserthan that by the gravity cast ing method, thereby offering theenhanced durabilit y in severe tem perature environm ents.

Our unique lead powder is adopted for the posit ive-elect rode act ivem aterial, which takes on a role of accum ulat ion of elect r icity in theposit ive plate, thereby contribut ing to the realizat ion of highcapacity and long life.

A water sealing portion is provided for preventing entry of gas produced during charging intothe water refilling hose in order to eliminate the hazard of induced explosion.

The water shutoff valve rises when water reaches the specified level, and stops water refillingautomatically.

The liquid level is identifiable at a glance, thanks to the large level display. In addition, the largehole for measuring the specific gravity enables quick measurement of the specific gravity.

The user only needs to snap-connect the couplings of the hoses on the tank and batterysides and open the faucet.Water is fed into all cells.

Do not clean the surfaces and connect ions of the bat tery with a drycloth or duster. Otherwise, inflam m at ion explosion m ight becaused due to generat ion of stat ic elect r icity that interacts withhydrogen gas produced by the bat tery. Use a cloth wet ted withwater, for exam ple, for cleaning the top surface of the bat tery.

Regarding the used bat tery, we are work ing on ensur ing effect ive ut ilizat ion,m aintenance, and conservat ion of resources by recycling the m ater ials ( reuseof lead, plast ics, and so on as raw m ater ials) . I n order t o dispose of t he bat tery,request if from a disposal com pany in accordance with laws per taining tot reatm ent and cleaning of disposals and environm ent - related laws. When the bat tery is not used for a long t im e, do not store it in a place badlyvent ilated or present with fire. Otherwise, explosion m ight be cause due to theaccum ulat ion of hydrogen gas.Only use the delicated charger or a charger m eet ing the rated capacity andvoltage of the bat tery. Using chargers other than those m ight cause insufficientcharging of the bat tery, leak of liquid, heat generat ion, or earth leakage.

Personnel not fam iliar with the handling m ethod and hazards of the bat teryshould not m ount or install the bat tery. Otherwise, injury or bat tery dam agem ight be caused.Do not allow any person who is unfam iliar with the bat tery handling (such aschild) to touch the bat tery. Otherwise, sight loss, burn injury, or elect r ic shockm ight be caused by the elect rolyte (diluted sulfur ic acid) filled in the bat tery.

Do not heat the bat tery or throw it into fire. Otherwise, liquid leakage, sm okegenerat ion, or rupture m ight be caused.

Do not reversely connect the posit ive and negat ive term inals of the bat tery.Otherwise, heat generat ion, ignit ion, sm oke generat ion, or inflam m at ionexplosion m ight be caused.Do not discharge the bat tery at a current equivalent to twice rated capacity,or 0.5 t im es the rated capacity cont inuously. Otherwise, the internals m elt downto cause explosion.Before start ing checkup or cleaning of the batery, rem ove stat ic elect r icity fromyour body by such as touching a m etallic m em ber in a place away from thebat tery. Touching the bat tery with elect rostat ically charged body m ight causeinflam m at ion explosion due to spark gererat ion.Do not use or leave the bat tery with its surfaces or connect ions at tached by dir tor foreign m at ter. Otherwise, inflam m at ion explosion or fire m ight be causeddue to earth leakage. Keep the bat tery clean and dry at all t im es by cleaning offdir t and foreign m at ter with a m oisture-containing cloth and the like.I n case the bat tery elect rolyte (diluted sulfur ic acid) at taches to skin, otherport ions of the body, or clothes, im m ediately wash it off with abundant water andthen sufficient am ount of soap. Otherwise, burn injury m ight be caused.

I n case the elect rolyte (diluted sulfur ic acid) enters into your m outh or youswallow it , gargle with abundant dr inking water im mediately and repet it ively andthen drink abundant dr inking water or cow m ilk. After that , seek m edicalt reatm ent from a m edical doctor as prom pt ly as possible. Otherwise, the insideof the m outh m ight be burnt . Do not disassem ble or repair the bat tery. Otherwise, inflam m at ion explosion orinjury m ight be caused.
