Interior Academic II Semester
During the fall and winter season many swedes retreat to their cabins in the countryside for walking in the woods, picking berries, hunGng and skiing.
TRADITIONS
HUNTING THEME
We have chosen the theme of hunGng as this is widely pracGced in our country.
The reindeer is somewhat of a symbol for Sweden and hunGng and it is an animal that exists throughout the country.
CLIENT
Our client is a man or woman in the
ages of 20 upwards.
Someone who would like a comfortable, classy and versaGle chair in which he or she
can enjoy a book or use in the office space.
It’s even perfect in front of the fire place when
the dark cold Swedish autumn and winter is upon you.
INSPIRATION
We were inspired to make a comfortable chair in the shape of reindeer antlers which is true to the Swedish nature and tradiGon.

The seat is composed of three main parts: • The Wooden Frame: wood • Antlers, armrests and legs: wood • The Seat and backrest: bent wood
The frame and the seat part are held together with blind – joints and glue
To reinforce the structure we have used screws that go through the planks behind the backrest and under the seat into the bent wood
As an addiGonal opGon to this chair we have included a reindeer throw that can be put on the seat to make it more comfortable.
