FootballFootball is the most popular sport in Poland. Over 400,000 Poles play football regularly, with

millions more playing occasionally. The first professional clubs were founded in the early 1900s, and the Polish national football team played its first international match in 1921.

Robert LewandowskiRobert Lewandowski (born 21 August 1988) is a Polish professional footballer who

plays as a striker for German club Bayern Munich, and captains the Poland national team.

A full international for Poland since 2008, Lewandowski has earned over 80 caps and was a member of their team at Euro 2012 and Euro 2016. With 35 goals, he ranks

fifth among their top scorers of all time.

Ski jumpingSki jumping in Poland - sport, which in Poland organized by the Polish Ski Association.

Polish jumpers take part in competitions since the 20s of the twentieth century. In 1920 they held the first Polish Championships in ski jumping.

World Rankings. Both teams have a lot of success in international competitions.

Bartosz KurekBartosz Kamil Kurek (born 29 August 1988) is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national volleyball team and Japanese club JT Thunders Hiroshima, a participant of the

Olympic Games, 2009 European Champion, a gold medalist of the 2012 World League, a silver medalist of the 2011 World Cup, a bronze medalist of the 2011 World League, 2011 European

Championship and 2015 World Cup, three-time Polish Champion and Italian Champion.

TennisTennis is a racket sport that can be played individually against a single opponent (singles) or

between two teams of two players each (doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket. The object of the game is to play the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. The

player who is unable to return the ball will not gain a point, while the opposite player will.

Agnieszka RadwańskaAgnieszka Radwańska born 6 March 1989 is a Polish professional tennis player.

Radwańska achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2 in July 2012 and is currently ranked world No. She has won eighteen career singles titles, and is nicknamed

"The Professor" among fellow players

HandballHandball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outfield players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more

goals wins.

Karol BieleckiKarol Bielecki (born 23 January 1982) is a Polish handball player for Vive Targi Kielce

and the Polish national team.[1]He also played for Poland national handball team, winning a silver medal in the World Handball Championship in 2007 and a bronze in 2009. He announced his retirement from the national team on 13 April 2012, following the unsuccessful

He is known as a strong climber, and rose to prominence at the 2013 Giro d'Italia, where he finished 7th overall, and 6th one year later. Other major achievements are three mountainous stage wins in the Tour de France as well as the

Mountains classification in the 2014 and 2016 edition, two stages and the overall victory at the 2014 Tour de Pologne. He achieved his first Grand Tour podium finish at the 2015 Vuelta a España, where he finished third. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, he

won a bronze medal for Poland in the road race.
