TARE MASS: The empty unladen mass of the trailer or vehicle as supplied by the manufacturer.

GROSS VEHICLE MASS (GVM): Maximum laden mass of your trailer or vehicle.

UNBRAKED TRAILER: The TARE MASS of your towing vehicle must be DOUBLE THE GVM of the trailer.

NOTE: Trailers that have a GVM of less than 750 kg may be towed by a driver with a Code B license. Trailers with a GVM exceeding 750 kg require a Code EB or EC license.
