Objective : The objective of this workshop is to promote and popularize Astronomy
among school children. This Program covers both theoretical and
observational aspects of basic astronomy. Night sky observations through the
GOTO 45cm telescope, the largest optical telescope, in Sri Lanka and usage of
modern astronomical instruments such as CCD cameras, spectrograph,
photometer etc will be part of the program.
Target Group : The workshop is tailored for school children, who have a keen interest in
