Objective : In the half century, following the invention of the transistor,

unprecedented developments related to solid state components have

helped generating a massive market for electronics and information

occurred in modern systems based on monolithic VLSI components

Objective : The objective of this workshop is to promote and popularize Astronomy

among school children. This Program covers both theoretical and

observational aspects of basic astronomy. Night sky observations through the

GOTO 45cm telescope, the largest optical telescope, in Sri Lanka and usage of

modern astronomical instruments such as CCD cameras, spectrograph,

photometer etc will be part of the program.

Target Group : The workshop is tailored for school children, who have a keen interest in

Data Library, Electronic Library (VHS, VCDs, DVDs), User surveys, Product guidelines, Application

Notes, Design-oriented Text Books, Book Collection & souvenirs of Sir Arthur C Clarke, Encyclopedias,

Directories and Standards are also available. Magazine on Electronics, Space Technologies are

available in the Periodical Section.
