IMPORTANT INFORMATION
OPTION I:
Accommodation is available in the Creare Student houses (it may be on a mattress or a bunk bed and without clothing cupboard space)
and/or with people from the local congregation at [ R50 ] per night (Please book 2 weeks in advance).
Own bedding is required.
Students are responsible for their own breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A tuck shop is available on campus. Hotdogs, sandwiches, etc. will be available.
Make sure you bring the following with:
iPod or CD player to listen to syllabi and Music CD’s for dance classes (for choreographing dances, etc.)
Pocket money
Bible / Notebook & pen
Food: Breakfast, Lunch & Supper (No meals will be provided).
Transport from Bloemfontein Airport or Bloemfontein Tourism Centre can be arranged if prior notice is given.
Transport is available from place of accommodation if the student is staying in one of the Creare Student houses; if student stays with people of the
local congregation they are responsible for their own transport.
When making use of Creare transport for classes at other venues, we kindly ask that students will assist drivers with the petrol expenses. The cost
per trip will be calculated every Monday and communicated to the students. One can budget R60 to get to all the classes. Please note that this does
not include transport from the student houses or going to the mall, etc. Creare Training Centre can not be held liable for any injury or damage to
property with regards to transport made available to the students.
First time students will need to start at the first levels & work upwards. Previous students can continue from where they left off.
All exams and memo’s applying to the relevant subject is already included in the book prices. Books will be given to you at Registration.
Please take note of the following :
All group classes are 12 hours per week, more or less 2 ½ hours per day, Monday - Friday.
Group Classes include the following:
• All drama and drama specialized fields
• All dance and dance specialized fields
• All multimedia, church planting & missions and prophetic subjects
• Band and theory classes in music
Music instrument classes: 10 lessons (30 minutes a lesson) per week, 1 hour per day per instrument.
If you would like to ‘plan/budget’ for your subjects:You would be able to do 2 – 3 group classes during this week and 1 – 2 instruments. This will keep you busy morning, noon and night.
With 2 – 3 group classes, we do not recommend more than one instrument, except if you are already quite familiar with your
instrument.However, the choice is yours at the end of the day. At registration there are advisors available in each Academy to help you set out
your programme for your time here.
